For the DSP II guys, I'm going to take a bit of an extended break from the game. I went and set-up several more dailies and another weekly, so things are scheduled for the next week or so.
I can pass on admin to one of you guys pretty easily. I can also log in every few days and schedule more tournies.
I'm just decided that on top of playing The Witcher 2, I'm also going to dig back into MLB 2K12.
I'll come back at some point, and maybe sooner than later. But for now, I'm going to spend more time on other games, as well as plenty of other real life stuff.

Danimal, there's a spot available in our CC.
Oh didn't realize.
Yeah, I saw -34 in the weeklies and knew it was only going to get worse from here on out. I have enough fun offline in career mode struggling to stay under par, and seeing guys talk about maybe turning off green grids, or adjusting to make it harder for the best guys just wasn't going to do it for me, so I opened up the spot.
I finally had a major break through at the Daily this morning. The windy, soggy, and slow course conditions at Royal County Down really fit my game (or lack thereof). First time in any DSP round where I shot under +10 and I think the first time where I did not end up dead last. 10 pars, 4 birdies, 2 bogeys and 2 double bogeys. It might also be the first time I did not have a hole where I completely blow it and shoot like +8. As much as there are still little things that frustrate me, it was a really enjoyable and rewarding round. Thanks to everyone who has helped me stick it out by giving advice and listening to my ranting. Can't wait to start the Weekly tonight.
I am even so far after having played 3 rounds. Whenever I celebrate a birdie or eagle, this damn course makes you pay for it almost always in the end and takes everything back. The moment you think you conquered Libery it bites you in the ass.
After 3 rounds I am -5 and atop the leader board. Of course that won't last because most guys have played one round LOL but it's an accomplishment for me.

I felt I was doing decent at Liberty and it looked like I was going to finish +2 after 2 rounds but then ended up 4 putting the 18th for a triple bogey.
On the Pebble Beach daily, I birdied each of the first 6 holes and thought for sure I was headed for a double digit under par round for the first time but never got any closer the rest of the way and finished -6.
Well, had probably the best 9 holes of tiger I have ever played on the back nine during the daily at pebble beach. I was -3 thru nine and was just hoping to catch squid. Was able to birdie 7 of 8 holes and aced hole 17… finished -12. Great round squid!
Oh, and the patch is out. The my golfer stats screen is fixed. There is a noticeable difference in the chipping. The feel on the stick was different, had to get used to that. Also on drives, I almost always got perfect - slow, whereas before patch I tended to get overswing - slow.

Is there any way for me to get the patch without having live? I can hook my 360 up to the internet, but don't have live. WIll it allow me to get the patch, or do you have to have live?

As far as I know you just need a silver live account (i.e. free) to get patches.

Man oh man, what is up with my game as of late? No confidence with any of my shots and it's showing up on the course. Started Pebble going; bogey, eagle, double bogey, birdie, bogey. I hit less than 60% of fairways off the tee, couldn't get the ball close on my approach and missed several sinkable putts.
Just when I thought I was on the verge of getting into that top tier of golfers here I have found myself in a serious funk.
•Virgin Gaming integration
•Adjusted how Boot Pins load on your Bad Tag in 4 Player Online Games
•Addressed issues with improper stats being displayed
•Addressed camera issues when zooming in while putting (Not I will sink those long putts, but it'll help)
•Fixed camera flash when hitting ball out of bounds
•Ping information is now properly reflected in the ping indicator
•Adjusted various chip animations (YES!)
•Users can now stand sideways when using Kinect on Amateur/Pro difficulties
•Grab and Release hand icon added when using the Kinect while aiming
•Addressed exploits with the Strike Meter on Tournament Difficulty
•Adjusted voice commands while playing on Augusta when changing club to Putter
•Adjusted the Course Mastery to refresh after Pin purchases
•Correct Kinect navigation issues when pausing during a replay
•Fixed issue with long load times when creating a Photo Game Face (Too late for me now, but gameface is still broken)
Live weather also seems to be broken and no mention on certain freezing issues. I got them once during a daily this week and often on Legacy mode.

I LOVE THIS DAMN GAME!!!
I had a strange round at Pebble...started well and was under par for awhile and then I TOTALLY LOST IT. I had a friggin' snowman on a par 4 and struggled the rest of the way. I'm getting better, but there is always a stretch where I blow up on one or two holes. The thing is....I LOVE THAT ABOUT THIS GAME! The struggles even continued into an offline "play now" round and I had a lot of fun learning how to hit around trees, from the sand, etc. I could not hit a fairway to save my life.
I won't crown this into my sports game hall of fame yet, but it's got the potential to end up there.

That's a milestone you won't forget Don. 27 putt rounds will go a long way toward healing other ailments... good stuff! BTW, Liberty can be very harsh. The wind was killer when I played round 1. The 18th at Liberty should be a par 5, IMO. It's one of the hardest par 4's I've ever played!

Ditto! These were excellent rounds under any conditions, but this was no easy track, IMO! When MERACE is on his game, he makes k2damoon look like Charles Barkley!
