Kim Jong Il is going to have that GK beheaded for not getting to his post on that goal.

Wow, nice shot. Getting that angle, behind the Korean keeper... sweet.

Bad goaltending indeed but that was one hell of a spectacular goal. 8O

:D. Good prediction btw Rob. Hey it's still a moral victory for the North Koreans.

Wow! Didn't expect the Koreans to score, obviously. Quality goal.

Every time that PRK keeper touches the ball it's hold-your-breath time. Good side, but that guy looks like he's going to kill them.

This N. Korea side are my new favorite communists now that Studs Terkel has left us. :)

Not impressed with Brazil. They may blame it on the weather but playing like today won't get the Samba team very far against tougher opponents. Among the top favorites only Germany has impressed me, but then again they are in a rather easy group. Let's see what the Spaniards have to offer tomorrow.

I watched a good chunk of the second half of the Chile-Honduras match this morning over breakfast. Entertaining footy.

God help us, it's the Swiss! No European team this side of Greece has done more to demonstrate how dull football can be.

Ive had just about enough of this Anti-Hellenism that seems to running rampant . Blaming us for everything from your dumb f***in idea for a unified europe, your shitty american stock market and now even to crappy football.

You should all be on your knees thanking us for EVERYTHING. With out us you would all be living in caves, wearing diapers on your head and screaming in unintelligable tongues.

In all fairness, I was yelling about you guys ruining football long before it became trendy to point out the fact that your socialism was a noose around the neck of the world economy. :)

Arrested? I understand the need to protect the rights of the contracted official sponsor, but I don't see how this is something that would give rise to a criminal charge.

The Swiss are the version of the MIN Wild coached by their former coach J. Lemaire. Dull and boring, yet very effective in the counterattack. Does the word trap ring a bell? They play a patient game waiting for the opponent's mistake and right now the Spanish side are relying too much on the aerial game which is not their style.

The Swiss would have been content with a point.

The Swiss aren't very good that's why they play counter football. Still, Rob Green has company...the Spanish team.

Spain had 74% of the possession and out-shot the Swiss 25-9. Teams playing that way, racking up 19 fouls and 4 yellow cards and sitting back for the counter is the dictionary definition of negative football. And it's not like Spain's 25 shots were pot shots, they had some good chances. Just wasn't their day.

That was expected Rob. Spain was always going to have the advantage in shots, possession and fouls. The SWISS almost put in two. TWO! It's a huge loss for Spain and rather embarrassing for them. With Brazil, you could tell they were a touch away from scoring. With Spain, there was little quality when the ball got in the box.

And quit downplaying the Swiss loss. You know you have a Swiss jersey on right now! :)

Again, people fail to remember that this is an Ottmar Hitzfeld team. I had no doubt about it when I put a fiver on it this morning.
