Welcome Paul.

Also welcoming the newest Dragon McGraw. Who came up big in his first games not only as a scorer but a face off guru. Shame them into winning face offs. 8)

Looking forward to lacing em up later.

Full house, all 8 skaters dressed for war, what's not to like? We do welcome to the club Terry indeed who's got his feet wet in experiencing a bit the highs and lows the life of a Dragon. But most importantly no sandwiches were made just comments about a certain lousy faceoff guy. Oh Gawd, I am glad it wasn't me.

That was so awesome. Although with as many missed wide open nets I had, I may try a sniper or something. I think we would have won both of those final two games if I didn't do such a sh*tty job shooting from the wing.

If you choose to do so, keep in mind that while you may gain in speed and accuracy as a sniper, you'll get knocked around quite easily too. Best thing to do, keep playing and eventually you'll find the build that best suits you're style of play.

Yeah, and I did alright harassing the other team on the forecheck as the power forward, but there were so many times that I had an open look that I missed...going to see how the trade off is. I can only recall a couple where they knocked me off balance and I was able to regain the puck, but I can recall a dozen times where I missed what should have been an easier shot. So if I end up just falling over twice but burying 5 more goals, I figure that's a positive.

Then again, first game I may spend the entire thing on my ass on the ice, and change my mind...

My experience with sniper has been less than satisfying. All I do is get knocked around plus miss great scoring chances but then again I am the worst. 8)

As for face offs I usually know at the start of a game how I am going to do so that game last night was f***in weird. Going from losing em all to almost winning em all. That "when are we going to win a faceoff?" got me focused.

It is great when we have enough to go intrasquad and as a bonus it does guarantee half of us a win.

Maybe this year EA will be kind enough to allow those intra squad games to be played as our Dragon players. Especially to avoid the line changes.

I enjoyed the nhl players last night it was a good change of pace and doing the playoff match ups was cool also. Unless you gotta boost then it doesnt matter to me in the intasquad.

Terry. Once you've tried all the build and get a feeling of how these games go you'll no what build suits you more. Its fun playing all the different ones actually changes up your games.

Take it from someone who plays playmaker when i'm on the wing...... that build gets knocked around too.

Ask Coach Zorba, my record in fights as a winger is 0-252, though that may also be attributable to my shitty reflexes!

Ace you missed the team meeting. 8)

That was a kick ass weekend of Dragons!

I had TOO MUCH fun and MY GENUINE apologies to anyone I may have offended as Mary told me this morning that I was a total asshole last two nights and have been this year in general. She actually texted me at around midnight from other room to "please stop being so loud" :P

Here you go Jimmy. Tipsy or not you were on your game. OT winner in very last game.... I love you guys!!!!

Out of curiosity, does Saturday hockey start later? I hopped on at about 7PM my time, and waited until 8PM and saw nothing going. I eventually went and watched a movie when it looked like nothing was going anywhere, but it seems like I missed a Saturday session.

Both Fridays and Saturdays, you'll see us starting between 7:30-8:00 PM PST. And the games go on easily for 3-4 hours. Last Saturday we probably started a bit past 8 PM as some of us were watching the hockey playoffs and some were playing Battlefront.

Thanks...that's sort of what I saw. "The crew" all split up amongst other games and TV and whatnot. Figured maybe wasn't happening that night, so I went off to do other crap.

Lesson learned!

Yeah, you won't miss us. The tradition started some 5 years back, and just for the past 2-3 years we made it a staple to play both Friday-Saturday. Some nights we have a full house like the day you joined us and on some other weekends maybe 4-5 guys going but there's always EASHL hockey going on for sure.

Yes.

There is always a game.

I think we take one weekend off a year over last three four years.

I wanted to play, but my daughters 3rd!!!!! birthday was Saturday, and by Saturday night I was tired and grumpy and would have been a bad Dragon, so I didn't get on.

Hopefully this weekend I can make at least one appearance to keep from being sent down to the ECHL!!!!!

I am sad as I will have to miss tonight. I have to work tomorrow at 5am! until noon, so I will be asleep long before Dragon time. In fact I may be at work while you guys finish up!

Hopefully Saturday night I can get recalled from the 'E' before Jimmy trades me for a bag of pucks and a date with the lady from Shawinigan.

Suddenly had big internet issues after that second game. Still working on them, but my 100mbps internet line is currently reading 7 mbps on a speedtest and everything is ultra laggy. XBox won't even connect to Live.

I appeared after band practice and passed out once I discovered Beloved Bill and his Pretzels (TM) were missing. :)
