SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton quickly apologized Friday after citing the June 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy as a reason to remain in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination despite increasingly long odds.
"I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and in particular the Kennedy family was in any way offensive. I certainly had no intention of that whatsoever," the former first lady said.
Really much about nothing. I'm not a Clinton fan, but come on. It was merely in the context of still having an active campaign going into June.

Well if it's all to do about nothing then she would have no need to apologize which she quickly did. And the media would not be jumping on this story if it was all to do about nothing.

Because EVERYTHING is politicized. A candidate could probably say white bread is best and the media would find something to jump on. The media is always making mountains out of mole hills.
Likewise, IMO all 3 candidates do pretty much suck. Of course, any of these 3 Stooges will be better than the current Stooge. Honestly George W goes down as one of the bottom 5. His dad, however, was underrated IMO.

I wouldn't vote for her in the general election, but honestly I have ZERO issues with what she said. She merely made a historically correct statement. It really was a mole hill.

She shouldn't have been so blunt in her example, but she was free to argue that late-breaking events could influence the nomination. It was a tone deaf and dumb thing to say, but her underlying argument was reasonable.
