How low can you go Hillary how low can you go?

HILLARY RAISES ASSASSINATION ISSUE
DEFENDS LONG-RUNNING CAMPAIGN

http://www.nypost.com/seven/05232008/ne ... 112232.htm

" Hillary Clinton today brought up the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy while defending her decision to stay in the race against Barack Obama.

"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don't understand it," she said, dismissing calls to drop out."

George Bush made us forget how scummy the Clinton Administration was. Thanks to Hillary, we can all remember it again.

This didn't take long, Hillary apologizes.

Clinton regrets Kennedy assassination remark

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton quickly apologized Friday after citing the June 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy as a reason to remain in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination despite increasingly long odds.

"I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and in particular the Kennedy family was in any way offensive. I certainly had no intention of that whatsoever," the former first lady said.

Really much about nothing. I'm not a Clinton fan, but come on. It was merely in the context of still having an active campaign going into June.

Well if it's all to do about nothing then she would have no need to apologize which she quickly did. And the media would not be jumping on this story if it was all to do about nothing. ;)

With that said i'm not a fan of any of the 3 candidates and this year I plan to sit it out.

Because EVERYTHING is politicized. A candidate could probably say white bread is best and the media would find something to jump on. The media is always making mountains out of mole hills.

Likewise, IMO all 3 candidates do pretty much suck. Of course, any of these 3 Stooges will be better than the current Stooge. Honestly George W goes down as one of the bottom 5. His dad, however, was underrated IMO.

Why, because I feel for bad for your mother because her son is a misogynist? Use that language in front of your mother and see if she approves.

If you have issues with Clinton's action, no problem. But using that language clearly shows some deep-rooted issues with women.

Thank you Dr...but leave My mother out of it until you get your degree and I make an appointment.

Now if you dont see anything wrong with what the pig said and has been saying then you have some deep-rooted issues with reality...

Bingo we have a winner. Liberals created and are the poster children for political correctness. Since shes a liberal and a good one at that, don't you think she should have realized that before she put her size 7 shoes in her mouth?

As you said we are now living in a world, and again thank you liberals where if you say the wrong word the word and thought police come knocking on your door.

So because of this alone she's a bigger idiot after the fact. People need to practice what they preach.

Great, just wasted 10:45 of my life. I remember now why I stay away from the nightly talking head trash.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch ... ys-no.html
In a statement, Kennedy Jr. said: “It is clear from the context that Hillary was invoking a familiar political circumstance in order to support her decision to stay in the race through June. I have heard her make this reference before, also citing her husband's 1992 race, both of which were hard fought through June. I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense.”
I wouldn't vote for her in the general election, but honestly I have ZERO issues with what she said. She merely made a historically correct statement. It really was a mole hill.

And FYI, the years of education pursuing and earning a Ph.D. I figure certainly gives me the right to refer to myself as Dr. Don't come calling on me to resolve your mother issues, but if you have an engineering problem, give me a ring.

Calm down everyone, or else I'll start doling out temp bans. Discussing Clinton/politics/etc, fine. Insulting each other, not fine.

Fact is she never apologized to Obama or apologized about bringing this up. She's basically telling ppl, well, if he gets shot, i'll be there, let's hope he gets shot, someone want to shoot him? hint hint.

Pure Scum.

As for Political correctness, you're wrong about being a liberal making. It was actually conjured up by Nixon. It never caught on until the mid 90s under Clinton.

You got a link to reference Nixon with PC? All the articles i've pulled up has nothing to do with him. ;)

Here are some articles regarding PC:

A Politically Correct Lexicon
Your ‘how-to’ guide to avoid offending anyone

"In the late ’70s, “politically correct,” “PC” for short, entered the public lexicon. Folks on the left used the term to dismiss views that were seen as too rigid and, also, to poke fun at themselves for the immense care they took to neither say nor do anything that might offend the political sensibilities of others."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_correctness
"Ruth Perry traces the term back to Mao's Little Red Book. According to Perry, the term was later adopted by the radical left in the 1960s, initially seriously and later ironically, as a self-criticism of dogmatic attitudes."

That's ludicrous. There is no way that she was in any way implying that someone should shoot the man. She shouldn't have been so blunt in her example, but she was free to argue that late-breaking events could influence the nomination. It was a tone deaf and dumb thing to say, but her underlying argument was reasonable.

She'd never have said it if she wasn't a selfish, self centered doofus. She doesn't care about presidency...she wants power. And power hungry people will take power however it comes to them...even at the detriment of her opponent.

There's no way, Rob? Really? I think there is. I'm no fan of Obama...but she's not going to let him have the nomination, if there's anything she can say, do, or imply. She meant it.
