Flew from Gibraltar to northern Morocco and from northern Spain to southern France over the Pyrenees and Andorra on Friday night. Both GORGEOUS.

Now that I’ve got my Series X and can finally play this gorgeous game without the distracting oddities and visual bugginess and choppiness of the Cloud gaming version I t-junged on the One X, I’ve been slowly sinking in, starting with the (exceedingly) basic tutorials.

But I’ve got a slightly esoteric question regarding the camera controls, specifically the R-stick, that I hope another controller-using Series X player can help me with:

Is there any setting where I can reverse the Y-axis of the R-stick for camera control?? It’s driving me crazy, pushing up to look up (and this in a flight sim, where you of course pull down to go up)! And throughout the vast and mind-bendingly complicated settings options, I just cannot find an easy toggle for this normally simple-to-adjust option. Help? It’s really throwing me off.

My only complaint about MS Flight Simulator is the prices for add-on content. They're absolute extortion. Up to $35 for one plane? Up to $20 for one airport?

I guess the content creators set their prices? What boggles my mind is that there are people willing to pay this much for this content.

No sale. I'll just stick with default content.

the content also takes up way too much space on the HD.

Xbox gifted me $5 last week to use by July.

I may use it on the US livery which is now $5.

It has jet blue , Alaska , American , United , delta , frontier and some others. May spend it on this as it’s on sale.

Too bad there is no southwest.

I am not a PC gamer but is this how PC Gaming works? Where you pay for DLC per item? Whereas on consoles, DLC seems to get bundled into one package for a more reasonable price.

Depends Racing games will have individual content or packs. A flight/combat sim like DCS will have single planes/helicopters as well. Want all the routes in Train Simulator? Buy them individually for over $1k. I don't recall if they have bundles.

Looks like the last update really screwed up a lot of things. Some avionics don't appear when starting a game . I've experience really bad user interface issues too where I can't select an airport to fly out of or into from time to time.

Hope they fix it.

When was the update? I flew two or three nights ago, and the entire experience was as smooth as a baby's ass through cloud gaming on my OG Xbox One.

I’ve had similar issues with other games that I've played on my desktop PC. This was usually an indicator of a failing videocard.

I’m wondering if the video chip on my Xbox Series S is experiencing the same thing.

if your other XBS games are fine then it's not the system. It's probably the game itself and that's been also reported on their reddit page.

The Hotas Thursmaster is on sale this 4th of July weekend at Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy for $68.

I picked one up and it's unbelievable how great it feels flying. It enhances the game 100 x. So much fun.

If you're gaming in your living room, you may want to buy a USB 3.0 extension cord with it. They're like 5 bucks at Amazon.

You can also use the stick for the Star Wars games and Ace Combat games.

Just fantastic!
