Did anyone here pick this up for 360? I am actually interested in this game, but would guess that most of the DSP crowd is playing on next-gen. Thanks.

It sounds like they did a bang up job on it. Running at an average above 45 fps. I'm interested.

DLC is out and the new maps are beauties! The swamp in particular is fantastic and distinct from the original group.

There is a new "Wingman" mode on the way which will be 2 v 2 Last Titan Standing.

The second map pack consisting of 3 new maps and some new achievements is out today. This DLC is included with the season pass, otherwise its $10.

I'll be checking out the new maps tonight.

Awesome. I might be able to pop on for a bit tonight, but probably can't be on too long after 10:00pm edt if I do. Monday night is actually a good night for me, though, so maybe we can get a group together online then.

How are the new maps?

I missed out Thursday and it turns out my houseguest I had thought was arriving on Wednesday is actually arriving tomorrow, so I won't be playing Monday night. I may get on tonight, however, so I'll look for you guys if you are on.

I can't say any of them stand out or are much different than what was already there.

The best thing about the new maps is that they got me playing Titanfall again.

I always figured this game was ripe for a horde mode with all the AI combatants already in the game. And its free!

Tomorrow's update includes Ranked Play as well as several "experimental changes," not the least of which is a brand new cooperative mode, 'Frontier Defense.' Here's how the new co-op mode will work:

Join forces with up to three other players in this cooperative game mode to defend a vital objective from increasingly intense waves of AI combatants.

- You and your team will face down familiar foes as well as the IMC's newest combat units: hordes of Grunts and Spectres, stealthy Sniper Spectres and Cloak Drones, explosive Suicide Spectres and Nuclear Titans, ranged Mortar Titans, and even melee-resistant Arc Titans!
- Supplement your firepower by earning and deploying stationary turrets around the battlefield.
- Leverage your full arsenal against the IMC without skipping a beat by using the new Loadout Crates near the objective to switch loadouts at will, while refilling ammo and ordnance.
- Pilots who fall in battle are flown back into the fray in a dropship that circles above the action before touchdown. Experienced Pilots always maximize their impact on the struggle below by firing from the side window of the dropship on approach.
- Seasoned players can challenge themselves to beat their best score. Try to earn 3 Map Stars on each map!
- Play in every corner of the Frontier, including the maps introduced in IMC Rising and every previous Titanfall expansion!

I played a three rounds of the new "horde" mode last night. It tasks four players with defending a centrally located fuel harvester. Each map I played had a different number of waves to withstand, between 4 and 6. If the harvester gets destroyed you get 2 more chances to start over on the current wave. Out of three rounds I made it to the end once.

On certain waves you have to make your way around the map to take out morter Titans that bombard the fuel harvester from long range. Its a lot of ground to cover with four guys as you have enemies storming the harvester at the same time. A revive ability would be nice. You do respawn, but it takes some time and when you are down a man or two on the later waves its difficult to overcome.

With all the AI and Titan killing I was leveling up faster than the versus games. Its fun and free, but it doesn't feel as perfectly fine tuned as the original game modes.
