My daughter was admitted to a facility a few hours from home today. It's an acute unit, but the same facility also has a residential program, and there's a good chance she'll transfer to that program when the acute folks are ready to let her. A lot is still up in the air, but we're at least trying something.

Same here. It made me happy that you found a place and can begin moving forward. I know it isn't a solution, but hopefully getting her placed will start the process of getting her the help she needs. Hopefully, with people addressing this, you can spend more time wither her as your daughter and less as a stressful issue that needs to be resolved. Mainly, I hope you start to get a chance to breathe.

Quick update, my wife is heading to Raleigh today for the family meeting (where they will discuss plan of treatment, progress, etc.) and visit my daughter. I've got to stay at home to take care of my son. The Doctor there has already increased the med, and so now we wait to see if there is any change.

Thanks again guys. Not sure what I would do without you all.
