If I know him and his grinding ways from WoW, he's probably playing in solo sessions just to crank through levels. :D

He's also doing it incognito, because I never see the dude online.. Hmm....

WoW does teach the discipline of endlessly grinding levels. :P I do get addicted to that one more level crap.

Non incognito. Its been 95% doing online street races 5-6-7-8 hours on saturday mornings/afternoons and a couple of hours here or there on week days. I think I have raced in around 200 of them.

I did knock off all the liquor stores for that achievement but like I say its street races. They give MEGA RP points for 1st 2nd 3rd in full rooms and still give some for finishing 8th. You are better off finishing last in a street race than doing single player missions.

I do log onto solo sessions much of the time as to avoid ass hats while I am driving to a race spot.

Interesting. I have the exact opposite approach. I almost never race except for the rare off-road goof off or air race. If there ain't shooting, I'm not involved.

I do all of the missions that I can and mix in a bunch of deathmatch/LTS.

And I love playing with the ass hats. Most of the fun I've had have been in the impromptu matches that erupt over trying to collect or lose a bounty, or over the crates or rare vehicle drops. Some epic stuff. Those crate battles are the best. I fought off 3 randoms and a boat load of mercs for one last night and grabbed 5000RP, $5000 cash and a minigun.

I only dabble in ass hats. Its fun in spurts but ya asked how I leveled so high so quick. Racing will do that.

I dont know how they figure it but you sometimes can get 4000 RP winning a race an 600 coming in 8th plus some pts durin gthe race.
I have made over $14,000 winning a race and $1,000-$2000 coming in 8th. Again I dont know how they figure the payout cause they vary.

My racing skill is maxed while my shooting is not so hot.

I do have lotsof purty weapons.

Good times (again) last night!

Highlight for me was blowing up the entire enemy team with a sticky bomb during the weed stealing mission. :D
Later during that one, I somehow got involved in a gun/jousting match on motorcycles, which I lost.
I also enjoyed running interference while Zep, with Soupa riding shotgun (literally), drove the limo on the VIP mission.

Next week (11/19) we get the free Beach Bum DLC which consists of a few new weapons, vehicles, tattoos and hairtyles. Plus new "jobs" including Gang Attacks, Survivals, Parachute Drops, Deathmatches and Races set near beaches and coastal areas.

I was one of the guys blown up in that 'weed' mission...still tons of fun though. :)

Soupa Mac also had trouble joining initially. I would have spammed you with invites, but about the time I saw you online our group got split up switching over to free roam and I was ready to call it a night. Ended up staying on a little while longer just to show another guy where he could find a decent apartment.

Yeah after we went to freeroam at the end to lose the randoms I tried rejoining several times unsuccessfully before calling it a night.

Highlight of the night was Pete almost getting beat up by an old lady he carjacked.
Asslicker, get your ass out!

New beach bum patch is out and they appear to have nerfed the street race path to levels. Judging from two races looks to be about 20-30% effective.

Prize money also took a big cut.

Still need to win races to upgrade car performance so they are still something you should do.

There's a slim chance I can get on when I get home from work tonight. I will have to see how I feel.

Let the XB1 and PS4 cool off for the night, so we can romp around Los Santos.

I should be able to make it by 10 and can stay up later than normal tonight. Looking forward to it! Let's see if we can get PK an apartment, and see if we can convince him it's a really awesome game, too. :D

I'm in.

Whoever gets there early, set up a party!! The communication is much better, it will keep us together when we decide to go tangle with randoms, it's easier to invite everyone to matches.

No dice. I have a rockin' Thanksgiving Eve gig tonight with the band at a local bar. Next time!

I'll make every attempt to be there. All depends on my evening out. Heading out with a few friends for some adult beverages. Long day tomorrow so I may be in early...to resume my criminal career :)

Awesome fun last night, guys. Great mix of activities and even a few that Naples didn't win.

Zeppo, I take umbrage, Sir, at your defamatory and inflammatory comments about my GTA curation. Grind on your own time. :)

Umbrage duly noted. And duly ignored! I reserve the right to complain at my discretion! Pete never steers us wrong when he's in charge of mission selection.

All kidding aside, that was a lot of fun last night. I was awful in the last death match, but I was half asleep so it was sort of a blur. I do wish there were mission you could do in larger groups than four. I don't really know about the gang fights, are they like the Red Dead free-roam battles where we would take over a small area as a big group? That would be fun once in a while in a mindless way.
