All updated in the DSP Online League thread now. Tim is right, the grid decision bears waiting. If the demo is as completely configurable as it's been the last few years, we'll be able to have plenty of field test results to evaluate before deciding. Then again, we could agree to have a mix of grid types. This past year, we typically had gridless greens for Mondays.

I agree not enough information yet to make a decision on grids or weekly formats.

I was hoping we would get demo news today

I remember us coming to a vote regarding grid or gridless greens. I think a wait and see approach is a wise one and to play the least favorite scenario (which was no grids last year) at least once a week would be a nice change of air too.

I'm having a hard time believing this game is just six weeks away. I'm good with whatever setting is being used.

I usually dump the previous years version of all sports games once the new one comes out, but I won't be doing that with TW PGA 13. I bought all the courses and I'm really enjoying theTiger challenge this time around.

Any mention of the club and swing tuner returning? If not, it won't bother me any. I disliked those features and hardly ever used them.

Nope, you won't see them in the game.

The fact is it a bunch of pics instead of video leads me to believe it will be as lifeless and boring as ever. I don't really care, as it is really low on my list of priorities.

Nothing like bashing something before you actually see it in the game.....pardon some of us as we prefer to see the new TV Broadcast feature in action before judging it. I guess you also missed the commentary updates mentioned in the blog? Hours of new commentary from Nantz and Feherty to liven up the atmosphere. The new cameras also liven up the entire presentation.

Lastly, these new presentation features were at the top of most TW wish lists that EA asked users to participate in. So these features are a huge priority for many TW users. Sorry you are so negative and disappointed in these new features. I doubt EA can ever please you. Hope you find a golf game you can enjoy some day.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. I'd rather have the stuff they added with stat banners than another attempt at commentary. Just the fact it track season and career stats and will display them is a step up.

I also love the banner that showed how a hole was playing to the field.

Looks like some good stuff to me. The one thing I am curious about is if there are scores updates during a hole. If I'm on the 16th hole and the leader bogeys 12 do I get a scoring update with that info?

It's like they took my personal wish list and developed a game based on it this year, at least in concept! I now realize that the game can't deliver all I want based on video memory limitations, but I think what they've done is about as much as they can do to inject some life into the game and take away the notion of playing in isolation.

If it performs as advertised in this blog, it will be a hit for me!

If EA was confident that it would play well, we would be seeing video of it in action.

I agree with Danimal, though, that the info they are presenting does look good and informative, and will be a nice addition.

I'll be surprised if we don't see some Broadcast Presentation videos tomorrow. Every blog so far has been accompanied by a video. This one was published very late in the day and it's likely that the video wasn't ready to go when the blog was posted. I just hope it isn't one of the flashy, 60 second commercial type videos that don't let you see anything through from start to finish.

Here is the first gameplay/feature video I have seen so far. The video spends a great deal of time discussing The Legends, but at least it is a start.....

It's really hard to get much out of the Console Creature's video. They're playing a mode that will be an afterthought for me, in a difficulty level (Pro) with which I can't relate, mostly using a camera (Follow) that I won't be using to play the game. The few times they did show what I'm thinking was a "Broadcast Presentation" angle, I thought the camera switched to a downrange camera way too quickly after impact. I liked the production work of the camera view to which they switched, but the switch occured way too soon for my tastes. Maybe we'll have presentation settings that allow us to affect some of this? It's just too early to tell, and the interviewer in this video was obviously clueless about the game. I think the EA Producer being interviewed had reached the limits of his patience by the end and wound up not showing all he intended to show.

My take on the Broadcast Presentation was not valid. In watching the video again, there never was a time when the human controlled golfer was shown playing a shot from the Broadcast Presentation view. I had confused the 1935 version of Bubba Watson as a human controlled player in one or two shots - he was always CPU controlled. But seriously, the Console Creatures' team didn't know the game at all and spent more time trying to be comedians. The Giant Bomb walkthough of Tiger 13 looks like an Emmy Award winner compared to this debacle!

Did you guys see this blog?

http://www.easports.com/tiger-woods/new ... clubs-blog

I really am confused by what is written here this wasn't the best explanation. For example Country Club Tour so it keeps wins and earnings against other country clubs? Does it track this just for club tournaments? Meaning if we set up a tour like last year will it give us a leader board of just earnings from those tournaments and club ranking or does it combine it with outside events. I must be daft because I don't understand at all after reading this.

Whats new about Club Loyalty or creating tournaments on the web? Seems to me by that description nothing. Also what purpose do coins server since you can't use them for DLC?

Presentation Stats confirms they are tracking all sorts of club statistics are these accessible from the CC menu? On the Web?

Sorry to be a downer but this was a poorly written blog. I have a lot of questions.
