I don't know if the game is live because i'm watching a ESPN feed of the Celtic vs AC Milan match via Sopcast. What a beatdown by AC Milan. Since the opening whistle they have been on the attack and lead 1-0. If it weren't for luck plus splendid goalkeeping by the Celtic keeper the match could easily be 5-0 in only 15 minutes of play.
Certainly not live. Milan is playing Fiorentina today in Italy. Not sure when that match is from...Rodster wrote:I don't know if the game is live because i'm watching a ESPN feed of the Celtic vs AC Milan match via Sopcast. What a beatdown by AC Milan. Me neither, I was watching it on Sopcast. AC Milan is one bad@ss team. They were all over Celtic in that game.Naples39 wrote:Certainly not live. Milan is playing Fiorentina today in Italy. Please bear in mind, however, that Celtic are utter sh*te.
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."
I just looked at the roster, and judging by this group and the group that played against Sweden, I think Bradley needs to learn what the term 'Forward' means, in that it does not equate to 'Central Midfielder.' Seems like the guy wants to put 10 CMs on the field at all times and hope they can score on a direct free kick. I mean, Davey Arnaud? Davey Arnaud? He's a nice player in MLS, but can't Bradley find any true strikers that are better, and for that matter aren't more suited to the midfield, such as Davey Arnaud and Landon Donovan? So we face Brazil with the only two true forwards on the entire f***in roster being Eddie Johnson and Josh Wolff?
I'm really starting to fear the Bradley effect, and it's not a positive effect, if you haven't figured out my feelings.

According to the link, he drank at the Blu Bamboo. As someone who lives not a million miles from Newcastle, I've enough experience of the place to tell you that's a mistake you only make once. His other choice of watering hole is alright. I was in Buffalo Joe's on Monday, in fact - my mate's girlfriend has just moved into an apartment on the quayside a few hundred yards away. Mike wasn't there.
Meanwhile, back on planet football, those griping about the quality of the US forward line might like to note that Emile Heskey has made it back into the England squad. Odds are he'll start on Saturday.

Sweet as long as it keeps the gay diver Cole from playing up front and can he possibly do any worse than the others ?GB_Simo wrote:According to the link, he drank at the Blu Bamboo. With the alternatives being a man who has spent his entire club season to date in midfield and a bunch of men I wouldn't trust to hit a barn door with a pebble from 5 paces, no he can't. I'm a fan of his, and I do believe he's a talented player, but Lord, does he underachieve.Jimmydeicide wrote:Sweet as long as it keeps the gay diver Cole from playing up front and can he possibly do any worse than the others ?

I thought he was 35. I can't believe that he's 29 and taken out of consideration for the England for the last few years. I know that he is in for Isreal but that's unreal. That's astonishing how far he's come or maybe "fallen".GB_Simo wrote:I'm always astonished when I read that Emile's only 29. With me being 22 I guess the effect is magnified but it feels like he's been playing forever.JRod wrote:How old is Emile? I think he's close to Vinny Tesstaverde's age, no?
England just does bonkers with its tunnelvision on what players they HAVE to select.

He's been out of consideration for a very good reason.
He's crap.

I had no idea the US had a friendly with Brazil in the US today. Nice job promoting that US Soccer. I caught it channel surfing. All the big players were involved too. The US got screwed with that free kick award just after the equalizer by Dempsey in the 2nd half. He is becoming the brightest star on the US squad.
