NCAA 07 XBox 360 Thread

I think I said last year I thought we were the most overrated team in the top 25, well we were a little better than that. I never seem to overtalk my teams.kevinpars wrote:Well, one of the 'experts' who said this about Boise was Lee Corso, so grain of salt.
Speaking of Georgia, how do you feel about them this year? The game at South Carolina is going to be huge. As an FSU fan I will be wearing a Bulldog hat on that Saturday hoping to see Spurrier go down.
We have 3 or 4 QBs that can see some PT this year. I hope we either start Matt Stafford and let him live and learn or RS him. I don't want to see him lose a year while sitting on the sideline 90% of the time.
We have 3 RBs that will all see alot of time. So we are deep there. I hope we run the ball 35+ times a game.
I believe we will win around 8 games. As a dawg, I just want to beat Florida. As you know, getting owned by one team for so long eats at you.
As far as USC, I think they are going in the right direction. It seems as if UGA/USC is always close no matter how good/bad the other team is. I don't hate Steve at all. I think he is a great coach but I do enjoy beating him. I would like to see us run the score up on him once or twice for a little payback for all those Danny W to Chris Doering TDs I had to watch against Georgia in the 90s. Howevever, I will still be happy with a 1 point win.
Go Dawgs,

The demo and the impressions at OS sold me on the 360 version. I picked up a memory card and a transfer kit and will get the game this week. The simming seemed okay, even if the Top 25 was a little goofy, and I really enjoyed the demo despite some of the glitches. After 5 years of NCAA on the PS2 and XBox, it feels different enough to me to warrant an extra $10 and losing a few features.
I guess I'll throw out my traditional college game request here (it's as good a place as any, I suppose. . .).
Being that I have Mac computers, a transfer kit won't work for me. I am wondering if any kind soul would do me a favor by buying an extra 360 memory card, d/l'ing the rosters to it and mailing it to me. All will be reimbursed through PayPal or your method of choice, of course. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Ok after playing the demo some more, i'm just about on the fence and comtemplating picking up a 360 just for this game. My only concern right now is that I played 3 games today and won all 3 on the All American level so i'm thinking this game is a tad bit easy which other people have noted as well. Then again i'm playing with two very good teams in the demo. Another thing that is cause for concern was that 2 out of the 3 games I won today, I won by going for the 2pt conversion. I was setup for a passing play but both times my QB was able to roll out right and basically walk right in for the score. Nobody was even close to laying a finger on him. I realize that the demo is not the final build but that should be cause for some concern. I'm going to make my mind up after reading some more impressions and might just pick up a 360 on the way home. If i'm pretty sure that I'm getting one for when Madden comes out I might as well just get it now and take advantage of NCAA as well.

I've got the kit and an extra card, so if Sudz can't hook you up I will.Zeppo wrote:I guess I'll throw out my traditional college game request here (it's as good a place as any, I suppose. . .).

The consensus seems to be that the final copy is a lot better than the demo. I know it doesn't address your particular question though.tjung0831 wrote:I realize that the demo is not the final build but that should be cause for some concern.
There is a huge impressions thread at OS. Maybe they can answer it there.
I don't have a problem doing it.Zeppo wrote:I guess I'll throw out my traditional college game request here (it's as good a place as any, I suppose. . .).

What features are lost by getting the 360 version?Brando70 wrote:The demo and the impressions at OS sold me on the 360 version. I think create-a-school and Race for the Heisman. There might be others.
I don't get the big stink about losing these features. Most people mess around with them for an hour or two, and they're forgotten.
I guess it always sucks to lose features (especially when you're playing at least $10 more) but when they're pretty much novelties that wear thin, what's the big deal?

are all the teams in there?grtwhtsk wrote:What features are lost by getting the 360 version?Brando70 wrote:The demo and the impressions at OS sold me on the 360 version. there a list?
The biggest seems to be that you can't see player names in online games, just the numbers, on the 360 version. If you have named rosters on the PS2/XBox, you'll see the names online. That does suck.grtwhtsk wrote:What features are lost by getting the 360 version?Brando70 wrote:The demo and the impressions at OS sold me on the 360 version. Otherwise there are no spring games, road to the Heisman, less editing options for players, and also just one camera to choose. Nothing I can't live with, as I thought the camera worked well in the demo.

Danimal - I'm in the same situation with having a Mac. Would you be able to hook me up? If you can, please let me know the cost and how you want payment.Danimal wrote:I've got the kit and an extra card, so if Sudz can't hook you up I will.Zeppo wrote:I guess I'll throw out my traditional college game request here (it's as good a place as any, I suppose. . .).

Brando, are you able to turn off the pre-snap "button bar" (for adjustments) or is that permanent?
EA's missed some staggeringly obvious things, as usual, but they've definitely taken a step in the right direction with the 360 version. Actually, several steps in the right direction. This seems like the most complete game they've put out in years.

I don't think so but I don't have the game yet(8 hours and 40 minutes I will).Sudz wrote:thanks.bdunn13 wrote:All 119 DIV 1-A teams are there, just not all the stadiums.
1-AA?
But I do believe I read they are not in there. When you play a 1-AA team they will appear as D1-AA East or whatever like they did early on(2002 maybe) on the ps2.

Yeah, I don't have the game yet, I was just relaying data from the epic OS thread. The online name issue was reported by several folks.kevinpars wrote:Bill, someone over at OS said that if you used one of the optional button setups then you don't get the presnap bar.
I am more excited for this game (and consequently for Madden 07 on the 360) than I have been for a football game since NFL 2k5.
