what is the actual concept of winning the league? Are we doing a playoff system? Or is it just whomever is on top after we all play our schedules? If i missed this detail somewhere then my mistake.bdunn13 wrote:Danimal.. I could go tonight but I don't play you.
Brando, I can go Thursday. I prefer playing around 11est so that should match up with you good.

- just a note. I don't know if I have said this but you can play any game at anytime. There is no concept of "week" in this.

Maybe it is just me, but the 360 interface makes playing online so much easier then the Xbox, that I find myself playing more. It's no longer a hassle to log into the game, sit around until your opponent shows up and then play.bdunn13 wrote:If we can get all 52 games in, we are all winners in my book.![]()
But whoever is at the top of the rankings is the winner..... if a tie, the top 2 can play or just share the crown(their choice).
Now i can just sit there and play Frogger, Geo Wars or even Oblivion for example and i see someone pop online and send them a message or chat with them without leaving the game etc.
Maybe i am kidding myself, but I think we will get all these games in and it will be surprising how fast they get done.

Yeah, the 360 interface is awesome. Plus, if you run into problems you can just use the chat function. Last night I walked XXXIV through the process of starting a game. Of course, what do I get for being a nice guy? He proceeds to kick my ass all over the fieldDanimal wrote:Maybe it is just me, but the 360 interface makes playing online so much easier then the Xbox, that I find myself playing more. There really wasn't any lag during our game at all except for cutscenes.
I will need a lot of walking through with all this new fangled technology...Leebo33 wrote:Yeah, the 360 interface is awesome. Plus, if you run into problems you can just use the chat function. Your bad luck with those poorly timed fumbles and that momentum thingy made the score look like that. Would have been anyones game otherwise.
It was fun though and nice to get back on Live after almost a year off.

I should be available to play in the evenings after 9pm eastern during the week and various times on weekends.

My bad, you are correct. Only the home team has the ability to report a score. I thought Danimal was home and I just saw the score was posted and I assumed he did it. All is well.grtwhtsk wrote:Did we double report it then? I put in the results too.bdunn13 wrote:Danimal,
you did it right last night. I forget but I think I did add the stats for you though.
Good games... lots of fun. Can't wait to play my next game tonight

I just looked at the algorithm and saw I did not implament one feature I had in there about the league settings using the max spread benefit(the max number of points you win by that will benefit you). I set the league for 14, but its hard coded in the algorithm at 21.. so this league is using the 21. I could change it, but that would be changing the rules after the game started and I won't do that.... but if we have another league(which I hope we do), I will fix that.
I also wanted to say all three games I have played so far have been hella fun....... all classy cheese free players that show sportsmanship.

Georgia 33, Northwestern 7
Coach BDunn and the Bulldogs neutered the Wildcats, as Northwestern put the dog in underdog with a dismal performance Thursday night. The Wildcats threw three interceptions, including one on the second play of the game that set up Georgia's first score.
Running a balanced offense, Coach BDunn's Bulldogs had their way with the Wildcat defense, especially in the trenches. Their special teams also shined with four field goals, including a powerful 54-yarder at the end of the first half to produce a 20-0 lead.
The Georgia defense blanketed Northwestern all day, with the Wildcats switching to a pass-heavy approach after falling behind early. Northwestern offensive coordinator Professor Frink, using the MNYPLY 2000 computer to call plays, could not crack the stifling George defense. "They really kicked us in the GLAVEN!" said Frink.
Coach Brando was unavilable for comment, as he left the field clutching a half-empty bottle of tequilla.
Due to severe lag, the game was played in two halves, which eliminated the game stats.
(Good game, BDunn, I couldn't stop you at all.)
