I am exhausted just watching the game, see you in the room just for a couple of Dragon games XXXIV.

Helluva a game. Most underrated player in the NHL, J. Williams.

man should be towes carrying that. i guess the bitterness has hit me now.

but la deserved it. coming back 0-3 is no fluke. they flipped the switch again like 2 years ago.

Impressive by this franchise. we all know all those years the Kings were the joke of the NHL. Finally its their time again.

LAKERS WHO!?!?

No idea how many Cups the kings would need to win before a radio station would talk about them over Kobe rehab or (insert name) coaching search? Maybe 7 cups in a row with Phil Jackson as the coach?!? Maybe..

Congrats on your team winning it!

It's like that in the USA though. There are only maybe 2-3 cities that are hockey cities but most cities hockey is an afterthought. Its probably like that in so cal. I'm sure this cup will be talked about since it's sort of like a mini dynasty for the Kings.

But who cares, your guys won it, you should celebrate regardless of the local media. At least you'll know they won't be burning down Woodland Hills tonight :)

Congrats to your Kings Jimmy, hell of a run. I've never seen a team erase that many deficits. Only guy I feel bad for is Lundqvist, he played his heart out.

It's 12:30 am, I'm at hooters on Figueroa down the street from Staples. I'm am fairly drunk and we're about to head out to another bar. What a game. OT was brutal. I needed a beer but the concession stands close in the third. Sorry I couldn't post some updates but I was way too nervous. Go Kings, and good night!

Still hurting from last night. The Rangers should be proud of the way they played.
They certainly had chances to win in OT and could easily be heading to game 6 but
not to be. Lundqvist did everything you could possibly ask from your goalie and then
some. 3 of the 5 games played were decided by OT. It was closer than 4-1 sounds.
But yes, the better team won. The Kings have a bunch of guys that are just unrelenting...
they just don't stop coming at you.

Wow, you sure got your money's worth LAK. Your head must still be spinning from last night. You have lots of memories that will be with you for a long time. Your boys were too good for the Blueshirts, but we
made you earn it for sure. That game 5 was one for the ages.

50 pages and +1200 posts and the 2013-14 hockey season is over.

I am sad about last night but proud of the season my Rangers had. They got me interested again in the team and rekindled my love for this great sport and for the Boys in Blue. They had a great run and the team showed great heart and never gave up despite running into an LA Kings machine. It's been a wonderful Stanley Cup Playoffs and every series was highly entertaining. Wish it was still going....

This pic says it all.

Didn't take much in the way of pics. I regretted trying to take video of the cup presentation last time since it kind of takes you out of the moment when you're looking through a camera. This time I just wanted to take it all in.

Some pics I have. I can't seem to figure out how to get these flickr photos to imbed correctly so here are the links.

The view from our seats. Literally the last row.

From left to right, Me, my best friend, and a friend from our high school who just happened to be at the game as well.

A friend of my GF, my GF, me, my GF's brother. The last two pics were taken from my best friend's seats. My favorite seats in all of Staples Center.
