What bugs have you encountered with the OPO?
Not even bugs. App compatibility has been all I've seen so far.
Any of the popular apps?
The only one I use regularly is the amazon prime music.

Looks like the Nexus 6 will be $650.

I guess I'll stick the OnePlus (when they finally ship it to me).

Insane price. Completely goes against everything the Nexus line of phones was about. Cheaper, unlocked phones. Now it's on every carrier and at a normal flagship price (unless it's a OnePlus One haha). Unreal.

They're kinda going in a different direction with the Nexus line, uh?

I mean, it looks amazing, killer specs and unlike previous Nexus phones, it looks like a 100% no compromise device.

I tell you, if it was $499 maybe I could have justified getting over the OPO, but $300 more? I personally just can't.

The OPO is on the very edge of my comfort zone in terms of size and the N6 dwarfs it. Thicker, heavier, 1/4" wider and a 1/4" taller. No way. The Moto X is going to get updated real quick...so definitely it's the way to go if you want a nexus-like experience w/ stock Android. And it's only $500 retail.

For a good size comparison chart w/ all of the current flagships:

Well I THINK I'm ok with the size of the OPO, but now I'm SURE I wouldn't be able to handle the Nexus 6.

I'm the opposite...after using the OPO...I'm sure I want to handle the N6...only slightly bigger. :)

I also have kept my Sony Xperia Z3 compact...for instances of when I don't want to carry the OPO...like weddings and going to the gym. That way I'm not married to a giant phone when the little guy does just fine. I've been using the Z3 for the past few days exclusively and it's a phenomenal phone for anyone that wants the small form factor. The camera is SO good.

What a rookie. :(

Guess you need to get a Z3 Compact or a Galaxy Alpha...maybe you can hold on to a smaller phone. lol

Thing is, I dropped the M7 all the time with a TPU case with no issues.

The OPO just fell perfectly face down. Such an awful sound. I knew it was done without even picking it up.

Scott, where you able to order the N6?

Seems like the window to order was short to say the least.

Nope. Was on the site, refreshing all morning and literally never saw a buy button. The window had to be like 30 seconds long, seriously. They must have made like ten phones. All that said, I've got plenty of phones to tide me over for a while.

BTW...tried the Note 4. Touchwiz is the f'n devil. Ruins a beautiful piece of hardware. Absolutely a lag fest. I don't understand how all of the reviewers let that sh*t slide. The camera on that thing is an absolute beast...and if the N6 can come close, it's going to be awesome. It's the only area the OPO lacks IMO...and it's still not bad at all.

My patience ran out and I went ahead and ordered a Nexus 5.

My old HTC One M7 officially bit the dust and I sold the cracked-screen-OnePlus on Ebay.

Cannot stand using this god-awful iPhone 4, that N5 can't get here fast enough.

I'll get by with it the N5 for the time being.

Putting this here too (already in the For Sale thread) because this is where most of the tech freaks are!

I have a lightly used Moto 360 smart watch for sale. Just picked up the LG G R to replace it as the bigger, diver style is more "me". All components, including box. Anyone interested PM me and we can discuss a fair price.

As I expected I despise the Nexus 5 camera (pretty horrible) and cannot stand it's battery life (basically same as my old HTC M7).

I just got my own OPO invite so I will just go ahead and order it and return the Nexus 5.

BTW, pretty funny that there's a chance the LG G3 will get Lollipop before the N5.

What, like the Lollipop I'm running on my Moto X? LOL.

The N5 camera is quite good if you enable HDR mode. I didn't have any problems with it...but you're right about the battery. Poor endurance.

One thing I noticed in the 2 days I've had 5.0 on my Moto X...the battery life seems to have improved. The X never has been a powerhouse, but I can easily get through a day with 40% left and around 2.5 hours of screen on time. That is PLENTY good enough for me.

I was researching the Moto X last night after realizing I was gonna send the N5 back for a refund. The only thing that worried me about the reviews was the average batterry life. Then of course I get the OnePlus invite today and the decision was easy. One thing the OnePlus has is excellent battery life. All other specs vs the MotoX where equal so might as well save some $ and go for the OPO.

Those are the two phones I have currently in my collection. I either sold or gave away my others. I tend to lean towards the Moto X because I love the in-hand feel and the camera is a bit better. I also really appreciate the active display notifications. The issue, as you mentioned, is that it's 200 dollars more than the OPO...so yeah. Probably not worth it to most people. That said, it'll still be a while for the OPO to get any version of Lollipop...so thats really what I was banking on when I bought my Moto X. We'll see how the N6 compares when it comes next week.

You know what? I'm keeping the N5.

I know the OPO will perform better across the board, but I just really enjoy the size of the N5.

I''ll sell the OPO unopened, maybe I'll make a couple of bucks on it.

I'm waiting for the Lollipop OTA. If I don't get by 2night I'll just go ahead and flash it myself.
