Agreed... sim is not really the proper way to categorize the original MM. What I'm thinking of when I say "sim" is the balance and landing angle management that was required in the original. I don't feel that dimension in the XBL Arcade version. I've only spent one session in free roam on the trial version and it ended when the allotted demo time expired. I'm probably guilty of "tjungin" it at this point

I spent a couple of hours doing a few career races but mostly did the exploring stuff just riding around trying to figure out how to get the coins and skulls. Very fun game, the bike handles really well, the track intros and graphics remind me of Wave Race on the Nintendo 64. Didn't try any multiplayer but would be up for it if we can get enough DSP guys to do some racing.
