Can't say I've watched much tampa hockey, but this is a solid club.
Anyone else think of that 2 ot game winner Yzerman scored against st Louis every time they mention him? Funny thing about that goal is that a Wayne Gretzky turnover led to it.
Edo isn't that bad dude. He knows the game, same with Pierre "the creep" Mcguire. If you played for the Habs would you always be able to remain impartial? I don't think any of us could. Even as fans people hold an alliance to our team. You're the only fan I've ever heard complain about edo. I get your disdain for milberry though, since he really is just a dumb goon.
Wow Chicago ties it! Game over now, tampa is deflated
Gritty win. I thought Hawks wouldn't score tonight the way Tampa was playing d. But in the 3 rd Tb stopped playing, just sat back on d. That gave the Hawks some life and 2 goals! Kane needs to score on that empty netter.

Tampa had this game and let them off the hook
You could say that. They had all the momentum after the first period and they slowly let off the pedal after that. However kudos to Crawford for that huge save on Callahan with about 8 minutes to go. If he doesn't make that save it's TPA winning game 1.
I heard a lot of hype about the tb pp but I think it suits the Hawks kill. Anaheim pp kept moving the puck and the Hawks were always chasing. Tb just makes some passes and just stands there. Not much movement. That's probably easier to defend than Ana style.
Last night's win was all about experience. The Lightning were young and shitting their pants trying to hold on to a one goal lead. The Hawks weathered the early storm and then slowly started taking over the game. Coach Q started playing with his lines and before you knew it the Hawks were in control of the game. It still was starting to look like Tampa would hold that one goal lead but when TT finally put it in the net there was no doubt in my mind that the Hawks were going to win. Nothing phases them. Down 3 games to 1 against Detroit. Who cares? Down 3-2 to Anaheim. Who cares? They just keep playing and more often than not they find a way to get it done. It will be hard for Tampa to overcome that but they are definitely loaded enough to still take this series.

I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

Agree. I thought they started to take over the game from about halfway of the second period, aided by some penalty problems that TPA run into. Overall, the home team did a fine job of controlling the Hawks top six forwards, and that's when their depth and experience showed at the end of the game.
I was referring to a couple of years ago they were down 3-1 to Detroit and came back to win the series, courtesy of Seabrook. I was just trying to illustrate that this isn't anything new to them.
