6 TB? Sh*t, the Federal government might sub-contract you to store private citizens' wireless data. You could be Uncle Sam's cloud.
6TB is child's play. 10TB here. There's a lot of stuff on the internet worth downloading. A LOT.
Heh 2 TB drives aren't that expensive and I have 6 drive bays. One is for games now that Steam allows you to pick the drive it goes on. The rest is porn.
Macca,
I'm a married man with 2 daughters. I do not save pron to my HD. I just stream it

I think there is some misconceived notion that you can't voice chat or easily join friends online with the PS3 and that certainly just is not the case.
I wonder if that comes from the fact that the PS3 doesn't come bundled with a headset. I know, for me, that's the big reason I never got into voice chat on the PS3.
Interestingly, this next generation it's the XBOX ONE that's coming without the headset! I know that you can use the Kinect but then I'm shouting at my TV again (and I only do that when I watch soccer).

Well crap that ruins my plan of buying a headset and going into another room and screaming "Xbox Off" to turn off everyones xbox who was using the Kinect for chat.

Looks like you can still yell. Story was a mistake.

UPDATE: Microsoft's UK distributor Gem has told Videogamer that its product listing in this week's MCV magazine which claimed Xbox One would come with a headset was a mistake.
It gave no explanation for how the erroneous information was printed, however.
"[Xbox One] won't include the headset", a Gem spokesperson said.
Eurogamer has yet to hear officially from Microsoft or Gem on the matter.
Too bad, though. They really should include one. Perhaps they can still change their mind.
It's good to see Microsoft clear up their problem with messaging to consumers......what a bunch of dongs.....

LOL, that's brilliant! I wonder if that would actually work?!?

Looks like we will get a chance to find out as yes they are a bunch of dongs.
When I eventually buy one I will make sure to get a head set. Go Vader!
I didn't see a response does the PS3 have a party system and all it entails like Live? I mean if we're claiming they are on equal ground then they must have something. I mean how would the Ice Dragons communicate if we played on PSN?

I honestly don't know if it has party chat or not, as i don't have the need. My friends I and I chat in Bf3 game chat. I also didn't claim that they are on equal ground. I'm sure there are things that MS does that PS3 doesn't (or does better). I just stated that there have been improvements to PS3's interface and that the gap wasn't as big as when the systems launched.
And also that for my money and needs, I've gotten more value from PSN+ over the past 12-18 months than I have from XBL.
I have no problems playing online and communicating with my friends. Granted I don't cross game chat or party chat on either system so the need is not there.

do you have to listen to everybody on in game chat tho? is it going to need to be game specific like some offer "your team only " chat some dont. Choices are always good the more they offer the happier everyone is. the 360 party system is critical for dsp gaming thats why we are all here if i want to listen to douches douching all game it wouldnt matter would it. ps4 has to copy the xbox system surely to win over those gamers.
If you don't have a need for party chat more power to you. You were just insinuating that the PS online infrastructure has come a long way and honestly I don't see a bit of difference in it. I can find 3 of my friends online in Live, send them all party and game invites and be playing quickly while being able to discuss any issues and it is just not that easy on PSN.
This is why I am really curious to hear what their plan is for the PS4. If they don't offer a compatible party chat system then they will still be behind the 8 ball IMO. Now that they are charging everyone to play online they need to offer comparable features you would think. Sony has been really quiet since they took advantage of Microsoft miscue at E3 so hopefully they start saying something soon.
