Congrats to the Pack. My Birds didn't deserve it today. Defense just couldn't get it done.

Without sounding like sour grapes (but it probably will), I was not impressed with Green Bay. That team isn't winning the Super Bowl. Atlanta should roll them next week.

I thought the winner of this game will eventually be the NFC champ.

I see the Packers getting there. They outplayed the bears earlier in the season in Chicago but ended up losing because they couldn't get in in the end zone. I can't trust Cutler in a big game, he may have those games where he throws 5 picks.

I'm not sold on ATL either. Seattle getting to the SB would be a great story, but I think it'll be the packers.

Would love to see Jets/Packers or Jets/Seahawks SB.

Except that the Seahawks are coming to town and the Packers go to Atlanta.

I couldn't be happier with the Bears divisional round draw. I don't like the Packers still being out there but I like the Bears chances at redemption against the Seahawks. I wasn't shocked that they beat the Saints in Seattle like everybody else seemed to be. I would have been shocked if that game had been in New Orleans. Qwest is a tough place to play. So is Soldier Field. :D

Go Bears!

I'll be shocked if the Pack gets by Atlanta. They are studs at home and GB has no running attack. They are the 3rd best team left. Atlanta and Chicago are better than them...IMO.

As much as it pains me to see the Packers win any game, ever, it's amusing to me that all the Eagles fans who cried that they were so much better than the Bears won't even see their team get out of a home game in the Wild Card round. And why are they in this predicament? Because in addition to losing to the Bears, they couldn't manage a home win against the Vikings or Packers, two teams against whom the Bears were a comfortable 2-1.

Yeah, I'm an Eagles fan and I agree. Diablo up there wasn't impressed by the Bears after they beat the Eagles, and now the Packers don't do much for him.

He likes the Falcons, apparently, but the Eagles beat them. :)

C'mon, Diablo, both the Bears and Packers are fairly significantly better teams than the birds this year. Eagles can't tackle, are small, had a mediocre D to begin with ravaged by injuries, and rely far too much on trick/big/broken plays for their success. 3rd and 2 shouldn't be as scary to a fan as it is if you root for the Eagles.

We'll see if they can keep their offense together and get some better bodies on D. If they can and do, I think if they fail again it's time for regime change over there.

He is not a fan of any team the mighty Eagles lose too I guess ;)

Next weeks AFC games look great, going to be a good weekend of football next weekend.

Relax Rob. It was the Pack that just beat the Eagles....and they deserved it. The Birds/Bears game was a regular season loss. That's it. The bottom line is the Eagles were a very good team...about 4-5 weeks ago. Since then things have gone downhill for numerous reasons. That being said, I really don't believe the Bears will have to worry about the Pack. They will exit next week - IMO.

The mighty Eagles? Did you watch that game? They were far from mighty. They were mighty for about 4 weeks this season.

Just because a team wins doesn't mean I have to be impressed by them. It wasn't impressive beating the Eagles today. Horse s*** D and 2 missed FGs.

Lol, I forgot the Birds beat the Falcons. You make some great points above. All those are why I wasn't very impressed with the Pack today. The Eagles are nothing close to what they were a month and a half ago.

Of course I watched it, I have no desire to throw salt in an open wound. I'm just happy the Mike Vick talk will finally end for a little while.

If they can run the ball the same way they did in CHI in week six, anything is possible. Of course Seahawks had some more healthy bodies then, but if Lynch and Forsett can get loose and Hasselbeck replicate what he did this weekend, Bears maybe in for a surprise. I remember Cutler being sacked 6 times in that game and SEA used extra defensive backs in its blitz packages to great effect.

But asides that game, they've struggled playing on the road and the weather will be a big factor.

Oh Christ I hope not. I have several friends that are casual Steelers fans that will never shut up if that happens. They couldn't even name the starting offense if I asked them but they will be diehards come next week. I'm fine with the Bears but please, not the Steelers (no offense to REAL Steelers fans). I'm sticking with my original pick - Baltimore.

I'm going to be out of the country for the super bowl & wont be able to watch it. So, I'm rooting for the worst matchup possible - let's go Seahawks v Baltimore!! (was supposed to be KC v Sea)
