I look for the Cards to go 3 and out and then the Steelers to steamroll the 2nd half.

Why is it all half time shows use musicians who are a bit, uh, stale? Just look at the last 5 shows. Sure there are some big names, but honestly, why not cater to a younger generation instead of "classic hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s"?

My guess is that they're trying to cater to the older crowd.. They know that 16-35 year olds will watch the game regardless.. Having Springsteen or the like as the halftime show can help draw in some of the older people

What is an act which would appeal to the younger crowd who'd draw even a bigger audience than U2, Springsteen, etc.?
The sad state of music is that it's the old acts which gross the most money in tours these days.
Besides, who's going to watch the Superbowl to discover music?

The last time they catered to the younger generation, we had nipplegate. I don't think the sponsors, network, or the NFL, want that again. All they need is some punk hip-hop artist dropping an F bomb or whipping his junk out for everyone to see.

Sadly, I agree... If Arizona had gone up 14-10 at the half, I think it would have been a great 2nd half.. Oh well

Bruce sounded like he was losing his voice. He couldn't hold any notes and had the crowd sing all the choruses.

Wow, loved watching Fitzgerald turn on the afterburners on that touchdown.

Who was the guy who said that his friend had 20 bucks on Arizona, and if they won he gets over a grand? He's probably licking his lips right about now!
