Anyone see that they keep teasing an EASHL item for all NHL 15 owners next week?

Oh man, I sooooo hope this is true! :

Hello EA. I'm wondering if steps have been taken to make the cycling game a more viable strategy with AI teammates. In previous iterations of the game, cycling has been incredibly hard to execute unless you only play with other players.

Answer:
It depends what strategy you set your team to play. A big part of cycling the puck is putting the puck where the player currently isn't so that you can keep momentum going. I suggest using the manual saucer pass into/along the boards, I find that my AI teammates will skate onto the puck in those circumstances in the corners. That being said, we have done a lot of work on facing direction of your teammates and ensuring that your player turns into the direction you expect. We’ve also added stumbles into the equation for hitting/physics which allows players to bump off checks at low relative speeds. All of these things combined really help the cycle game overall.

Was that the new camera on that video? It sort of looks the same as the regular one.

I believe they said it was Dynamic Medium, so the same as the camera angle they introduced last year.

Too high for that.. maybe dynamic high? Dynamic medium is too low to see the point men.

Ok.. makes sense. I know I use classic on x360, believe I use dynamic high on xb1. (haven't played xb1 NHL in quite some time)

With college football gone.. I really don't play much console games besides a bit of Batman and the rest is NHL, so the x360 gets quite a bit of use over the xb1.

I really wish college football would find a way to come back to consoles. I cry tears of joy when thinking about a college football game on the xb1, especially with a playoff in place now. :(

A good chance for all Dragons to get together again. It'll be like training camp before the real season begins. Good for you EA.

Awesome. I may actually find the time to get in on this with you guys. Thanks to the EA Vault, it won't cost me a thing! I am really, really happy they have abandoned the leveling-up grind and equipment boost crap.

I enjoyed the first game with OTP or the first couple of games with OTP.

Then they made some stupid changes like you were locked into a certain camera (more POV) for OTP games and you had to create a player or something, you couldn't just control one of the NHL players?

But most people didn't seem to mind those changes at all so I would guess it'll be similar again, you can't just keep it on an overhead camera in OTP games or be able to control NHL players and even switch among them, instead of being locked to one the whole game?

I installed 15 last night since I have the EA things now. That game was not very good so I'll be interested in trying this out.

It's only beta for a week so hopefully we can have some intrasquad games. Otherwise, let's hook up for all 7 nights. :D

So, if I have the NHL 15 game on EA Access, does that count as owning it if it's downloaded?
