You will be our gopher then.

I'm also glad to volunteer. All this money I've spent on next gen systems, I'm guaranteed to be in line for any next gen baseball game with good looking grapics.

I'm definitely getting it on release as well.

My baseball-crazy self will be getting all the console baseball games, with the exception of The Show for PS3.

One thing I really like from watching the videos is the pitch speed. In many of the recently released games its too hard to get walks because of the pitch speed (IMO). I am a huge MLB The Show fan but the pitch speeds are too fast to consistently get walks. Pitch recognition is too difficult. High Heat did it the best back in the day. From what I could tell, MLB2K7 looks pretty nice as far as pitch recognition.

I noticed this as well. I could identify some of the pitches and thought it was perfect - speed wise. I would like to see a fast ball from someone like Clemems though.

I still think the jerseys blowing like that look goofy. :)

Why not? I'll tell you why I won't get it for the PS3. I play with the ball cursor off but I use the rumble to help me find the edges of the strike zone. Thats why I have opted for the PS2 version. :D

No PS3, that's why. Surprised the game will be out in a couple months, and there's no media for it. Although there's not much for the PS2 version either.

Agreed though, it'll be strange to play it without rumble.

Agreed! We get it. We understand how fluidly the uniforms animate.

I just don't understand how they put stuff like this into the game. At some point in the development someone must have noticed how ridiculous the uniform physics look. You just know that EVERY review is going to mention how overdone the effect is and all the sports fans like us are going to complain about how it detracts from the atmosphere they obviously worked so hard on to create. Then they will have to spend extra time next year just to tone it down when you would think they could have worked it out in the initial programming.

Who knows, maybe they will fix it before release, but i doubt it.

You know, it's funny.. I feel the same way. Every year something disappoints and they say, "we'll fix this next year".

From a poster at OS. MLB 2k7 for $29.99 + another $10 off if you use google checkout.

Some are saying it's for the Xbox (could be) as the platform says Xbox, but the title and picture of the game says, Xbox 360.

I might take a chance on this - it's like $26 if you use the google checkout option. I've seen it for $60 everywhere else.

I thought "thinking about baseball" was supposed to prevent those sorts of issues, not cause them! :)
