While a totally different subject, and one I am sure could span many pages in a thread, I would like to nominate Sly Stallone from the first Rambo. The final scene were he is talking to the major. Is by far one of the worst scenes I have ever scene in terms of overacting.

However by far the worst scene I have ever seen in a movie is in a movie called DreamCatcher with Jason Lee, Morgan Freeman and the guy who played Lt. Winters in band of brothers. If you have seen this movie you must know the scene I am refering to.

Jason Lee and another guy walk outside their hunting cabin to see hundres of animals walking by. Deer, Rabbits, Bears you name it, they are all calmly walking right by the cabin. Which prompts jason Lee to utter the classic line I will never forget: "That's odd"

Working Girl - I don't know how. I don't know why. (I can't stand Melanie Griffith). But if it's on, there's a 45% chance I'll end up watching it. Maybe I have a secret man love for Harrison Ford or something.

Transformers: The Movie - The second half is just godawful, but watching the Gen1 characters get wasted left and right in the first 20 minutes is still a fun ride. Poor Optimus. (sniff)

License to Drive - God help me for liking any movie with the Cory's (exception: The Lost Boys is terrific), but I can't help but enjoy it. "No thanks, dad. I've got a Mercedes."

The Mummy (Brendan Frasier version) - An entertaining movie that requires all brain-functions be on pause. (Can't say the same for the Mummy Returns which is just.... bad.)

My wife thinks I should put Big Lebowski on the list, but I have no guilt in my love of that movie. Also, any guy who has the sack to admit in print that he likes Beaches deserves bonus points. I'd rather watch a marathon of Wild Wild West, Batman and Robin and Waterworld than sit through 20 minutes of Beaches. :D

Wow!
Dude, it's set in Southern California, and just because you can't identify with the quiet, war-weary studly veteran played by Keanu Reeves doesn't mean you have to mock those of us who do :)

On the plus side, it does have Anthony Quinn.

Okay, so California. You can see how the movie just stays with me...

"Convoy"

Became a running joke in college before I saw it. Seeing the movie late one night on TBS just sealed the deal. OK, the multiple beers before the movie came on also might have helped.

A recent one that I actually got caught up in was "Wimbledon." My wife started watching it while I was working and next thing I know, my CPU is on "sleep." Ugh.

Now I have the song in my head along with "Rubber Ducky."

This was the first movie I ever watched on HBO.

Just a nitpick but I think it was Northern California.

Got Sandy Bullock in a pair of skin-tight trousers before she got too unbearable...that'll do for me.

And from my early days of vid watching, I nominate...

Invasion USA (classic Chuck Norris brain-dead job)

Conan the Barbarian

Commando

I forgot about this one, This is with the chick who pretends to be a guy and goes to another school for an article or some such. I vividly remember the last scene where here little brother rides off with a bike chick.
how the hell did she tape down those tits? duct tape?
No kidding. You see them in her bikini at the beginning, but after her change, they're pretty covered up. Then, when she pops her hood at the end, you're wondering where the f--- they came from. It's like she stuck them in a Bag of Holding for 87 minutes.

I enjoyed Wimbledon, mainly because of Kirsten Dunst though.

A movie that I always end up watching when flipping through channels and it is on is Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, dont know what it is about it but I always end up watching it till the end.

Smokey and the Bandit

The movie is so inbred you feel like you've kissed your sister after watching it, but Gleason makes it enjoyable.

"The Last American Virgin"

It has all the stupid teen movie cliche's but at the end when he DOESN'T get the girl and he's driving away crying, all of a sudden the credits start rolling and you're going "it can't end like this" and then wipe a tear away.

Kicko, I'm right there with you on Cocktail. Whenever it is on, I typically lose 30-60 minutes of my life before realizing what happened.

Pigpen, I happen to love Legends of the Fall, so you are not alone. Wild Things is also a great movie, even w/o certain......scenes

My #1 movie that gets me watching even though I know the whole time how bad it is would be Bring It On. Must be Kirsten Dunst that keeps me from turning it off :D

My wife LOVES Tom Cruise, and so I have seen Top Gun more times than I care to remember. It was a cool movie when I was 16. She also forces me into watching Grease. I think I have seen that one at least a dozen times.
