I guess it all comes down to the philosophical question of: Would you rather have a 100+ million dollar contract with the Yankees or a functional penis and no benign tumors on you pituitary gland?

I think that the Yankees are finding out that Jason without steroids is like Jeremy. In other words, a lot of money down the drain.

I think we are going to be seeing more of this in the future. It would not surprise me to see a lot of baseball players going the way of Lyle Alzado. You mess with your body and you pay the price. While I feel sorry for anyone who gets sick, it is not like it is bad luck. Enough bad things happen when using drugs tested by the FDA, using stuff that has not been tested is like opening pandora's box.

Well, I think the sad thing is that Jason Giambi didn't necessarily needsteroids to be a force for the Yanks. Didn't he have some very good years when he was in Oakland and not on the juice? Unfortuntely, these players get greedy and influenced by the dollar sign and don't think of the ramifications.

It just seems very peculiar that Bond's trainer supplied the Giambi brothers and Sheffield with steroids but not Barry? C'mon. Bond's body and face look bigger and more g*d-like than either Giambi or Sheffield. If the truth nevers comes out against Barry, you'll still never convince me he didn't take roids.
