the honeymoon phase is over for me and ps5 version.
the game is good but it's no where near quality the xbox series x version.
the big problem is the constant rerendering. you change the camera one half degree, the entire landscape has to rerender.
it's like you're playing the game on cloud. it may be actually worse than cloud.
xbox series x version doesn't have this problem.
plus the PS5 marketplace is a joke.
This game is not worth full price. maybe half the price.
unfortunately, ms isn't going to fix anything on ps5 anytime soon. Game's been out since November and nothing has changed.
sportdan - tell your contacts at playstation to contact microsoft and fix this s*** at once! there is no reason why the ps5 version should be inferior to the xbox series X version of this game. None!

I've been playing more career mode on PS5 and it's pretty good. it doesnt have as bad rendering as free flight mode does. seems like the regions that are pre-built in the game are just fine. Meaning like if you do landing challenges, the prebuild landcapes don't change, they stay intact and look beautiful since no re-rending happens.
best thing so far is the immersion on ps5. the mic and haptic controller just feels more realistic than the xbox controller.
i'm having a lot of fun again w/ career mode.

i hooked up my xbox today to my 65 inch newer tv that I have the ps5 hooked up to.
OMG The XBX version of this game on a big TV looks so realistic. If you do cockpit view it looks like you're really flying the plane. and the xbx graphic are just so much superior than the ps5. there is no re-rendering as like there is as ps5. there is some, but you hardly notice it like you do on ps5.
But the game is a real treat on PS5 too. just the advantages of the ATC coming through the mic on the PS5 Controller is unmatched when it comes to realism. I really hope they make it where you can say things back to the ATC through the mic.
