Lets be real, it's not a new Xbox Handheld. It's the new ROG Ally with an Xbox Button. It is a Windows handheld, just like every other before it. You just have a button that now takes you to the Xbox Gamepass Service. You're not running anything natively unless the game is Windows 10/11 game.

Maybe I am just missing this in what I have read, but will you be able to install any digital games from your Xbox library on this?

If not, I don't see myself moving on from my Logitech G Cloud to this. If so, I will definitely be interested.

I really like my G Cloud, but it is next to impossible to enjoy any game being streamed where exact timing is a crucial aspect of the gameplay.

Only if they are PC games as well. Regular Xbox games cannot. It's literally just a handheld PC.

how is the PS5 handheld device? I don't hear much about it. Has it sold well or just another gimmick?

The real question for this XBOX Rog Ally is that MS is supposedly building a customized, slimmed down version of Windows 11 designed for gaming.

I love my Steam Deck OLED and pretty much only game on it these days, and Linux/SteamOS generally works well, but you never know when you're gonna have headaches with other PC game storefronts like Epic, or with some of the really impressive fan-made games and ports out there built for Windows. And I don't play online anymore, but for other gamers the lack the Linux anti-cheat software means they can't play their favorite games on it.

Would be nice to have the best of both worlds in a truly gaming streamlined Windows 11, but we can only wait and see.
