Hmm, guess I have had a very different experience with 2005 300 Limited and 2013 300C......pk500 wrote:The Toyota, hands down. The only difference between Chrysler products and a bucket of sh*t is the bucket.

We bought a Kia Sedona new off the lot in 2007, I think it was. Mainly because of the recommendation of my brother (owns a big auto shop up North), who said it would be problem free for years, and it had that 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty.
That thing has been a tank, Never had a problem with it, other than minor stuff like headlights being replaced and one where the A/C condenser had a problem.
The thing is, I don't think a minivan can "wow" me, so the Kia is definitely not a wow-factor van. But it's been problem free for years after we paid it off, is still the one we take places at 140K miles now. So depends on what you're after. I struggled with the thought of paying 30 grand for something that didn't wow me, but I'd buy another one in a heartbeat now.
It's no the sexy pick, that's for sure

I'd stay far away from the Dodge Caravan. We owned one and it was alright. By year 3 or 4, we started having problems with it.
My wife just got a Ford Flex as a company car. That thing might not be the prettiest, but it has some great features, and it by far has the most head room and leg room in any vehicle I've ever sat in. And I'm 6'4. It drives quite smooth too.
If I had to choose, I'd go with the Toyota and don't look back.

I have an '09 Sienna with around 65k miles and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's a tank built for picking up, hauling and dropping off kids and it does so with aplomb. I never understood the families in this bastion of Suburbia who avoid them. Most of them are moms who somehow think they're too cool to own a minivan but also think that taking a limo to a Bon Jovi concert is the ne plus ultra of cool.sportdan30 wrote:

It runs, has never had anything but routine maintenance, safely transports the kids and has a loud-ass sound system for the glorious moments after the kids bail out the back like Screaming Eagles over Normandy and I can flip on some Kendrick Lamar and bliss out.
That said, if I didn't have our second car to take for a spin every now and then, I would die from lack of a chance to do some proper driving.
