Yep, Sturridge came back and dove his way back to the sub bench.
Too many worker Bees, Courthino is a class above everybody else.

I like Ings up front, Benteke needs a little more time but should come good , they need to give him better service.
Lucas of all people has been a standout, Caan is hit and miss at the moment i really thought he would be awesome this year but at times he seems to have taken a step back.

If they are thinking of getting rid of Brendan the Klopp better be the replacement otherwise why do it.

He may have lost a step or two but Lewandowski was absolutely at his best today. Five goals in under 10 minutes none more beautiful than his last goal. Not too shabby from a guy coming off the bench.

Yeh , incredible performance. I saw him get 3 or 4 in that champions league game for Dortmund that time , it was eerily similar but he even out did that game.

He had the PES red arrow for sure. :D

Just for PK. Final from St. James Park: Newcastle nil - Sheffield Wednesday 1. Up the Owls.

Even worse: Wednesday fielded largely a reserve team. Ugh.

I bet Ashley will give McClaren until the first Tyne-Wear Derby of the season, Oct. 25. If the Magpies lose that, McClaren will be gone. Good riddance, too.

But the only way for Newcastle United to avoid relegation this season is for Fat F*cking Mike to sell the team before the January transfer window closes. That won't happen.

True, 10 changes made to the lineup that won against Fulham at the weekend. I did see on Skysports that the lineup for Newcastle was valued at 65 mil. Ouch.

My boy Lionel will be out 6-8 weeks with a knee injury. Tough break for Barca and Argentina.

Newcastle let Chelsea off the hook yesterday. Two-goal lead with 10 minutes left and ended with a tie.

Frustrating as f*ck.

Whatever Pellegrini shouted at his players in half time worked wonders. Newcastle could have been up by a couple of goals in the first 45 minutes until Kun Aguero turn this match into a laughter with a Lewandowski performance.

Bon voyage, Brendan.

The results haven't been there. That's inarguable. OTOH, FSG have owned the club for two managers now and we still don't know what the actual transfer policy is, or to what extent either of the manager was able to buy and sell their own players. God forbid that a sports "journalist" in the UK actually cultivate sources and report on how the teams are actully managed. Is the transfer committee still calling the shots? Ian Ayre is still a cockroach, surviving regime change, losing seasons and commercial failure, why? Who talks to the scouts? Who makes the budgetary decisions?

It might could be that BR was involved in all of that. If so, a sacking was overdue. If we're looking at another manager operating within the same decision-making process...

When he first arrived he had a plan and a vision , so something is going on behind closed doors or he just isnt the guy he thought he was.

And what about if we get Klopp and the Transfer Committee (TM) spend 150 million on players who stink, 1/3 of whom play a handful of games and then get loaned out and sold on the cheap?

You can hire the best chef in the world, but he can only do so much with rotten ingredients.

I hope I'm wrong, but I see no evidence that there is reason to be optimistic no matter whom we hire.

Well hopefully he has the balls to say "hes SHiza i dont want him " or have more say in who he wants or walks and tells all what a bunch of wankers are left at one of the best clubs in the world(former) and Tierry Henry would be right Liverpool FC are just a brand to these plastic face yanks.

If he doesnt work out then its not him they should get rid off.

Im the last guy to be positive about anything (no really) but i have a real good feeling about this. :D

Thanks for reminding me that Macca has a Jonjo Shelvey shirt. This makes me so happy.
