OT: Earbuds

Post by sportdan30 »

Anyone have any recommendations or favorites? Looking to use them at the gym and for biking.

Tried some JBL Reflects but couldn't retain their snugness and kept falling out.

Also tried the Plantronics back beat fit behind the neck headphones. $129 and not sure if I can justify the price. Felt comfortable and the sound quality was better than the JBLs.

I am a big fan of Sennheiser and I got the "Momentum' In-Ear buds which are about $100. They are sporty yet classy in appearance and fancy some fantastic sound.

I use these on occasion as I have way too many earbuds in my collection. They sound great for the money, they cost $14 and never have a problem with them falling out.

The Wirecutter almost never steers me wrong with tech and electronics purchases. Check out its verdict on in-ear headphones less than $40:

VSonic GR07 BEs. I've tried damn near every headphone under 200 and these are by far my favorites. Don't be fooled by the name they are not bass heavy...just a touch more than their normal GR07 models to differentiate. They fit great and they are extremely durable and comfy.

If using with exercise, just get your standard cheap ones under $20. Can't tell you how many I've gone through.

Then you need to learn how to take care of your stuff. Been using the same VSonics for a year. Gym...yard work...running. Still work perfectly.
