Toca, Indy, and now CM 4.0

Post by tjung0831 »

I have to say i'm loving these games on the Xbox. I bought the Xbox soley based on the reviews here of Toca. I then bought Indy and I picked up Colin McRae 4.0 on Friday night. I was very tempted to get microsoft's RC2 but for $20 I figured I couldn't go wrong with CMR4. I had never really played a rally game before but CMR4 is outstanding and I'm loving it and it's getting a lot of my playing time right now. The fact that I was able to buy all of these games brand new for a total of $70 is icing on the cake. Here is a testament to how good CMR4 is. I had the inlaws over last night for a 4th of july celebration and while me, the wife and kids were outside watching fireworks, my father in law was inside playing CMR4 damn near unable to put the controller down. He's not a video gamer by any stretch of the means either but he was hooked on CMR4.

CMR 4 is awesome. It's pretty bare bones, but man, what a driving model and what a challenging game at the upper skill levels. Compelling video gaming, for sure.

Glad you and your relatives are digging it!

Take care,
