Look what we are dealing with.

I did enjoy telling it like it is but I doubt they give a s***.

They have shown us who they really are and I have accepted them for the cowards and liars they are.

:D

Zero C words or F bombs.

There are plenty of words that can match those or even beat em when used correctly in a sentence. In other words I took my time. Its tuesday and Im off the stuff :P

I've been assuming that EA is printing out all the comments onto toilet paper and delivering it to Ramjag's bathroom.

Miz what slider tweaks are you using if any? I can't seem to settle on anything.......

Are you still all star with hitting power at zero?

AS/Hardcore - 10 min - Penalties all the way up - fighting maxed

AI strategy setting up to match the CPU strategy setting
goalie cover puck +1

I honestly think that's it - I've pretty much went back to defaults for the most part.

I finished my first season, beat Minnesota 4 games to 2 in the first round of the playoffs and then lost to Dallas in Game 7. :(

The Kings beat the Penguins in 7 games to win back to back Stanley Cup Championships.

I didn't land one free agent, CPU seems much more aggressive. Connor McDavid went #1 to Washington.

I'm not sure I'll get through another season, but I'm going to try.

One thing that irks me about this game is they never mention the Kings winning the cup last year they only ever refer to 2012.
Oh and the player switching still pisses me off every game.

If they don't bring back some kind of "tie up" function next year I am skipping NHl 16. 80% of the AI goals are one timers where I can't tie the guy up i'm defending, or my teammate AI is braindead and they are skating away from the player who eventually scores........

They also need to tune the hitting....... I've been trying to enjoy a GM game on the "EA version" of hockey with nearly default sliders, but i had to turn the hitting power down to zero as I am sick of guys getting flattened, *from behind*, with their momentum heading AWAY from the checker. That makes no sense physics wise to me whatsoever.

If hockey wasn't my favourite sport, I'd have gotten rid of this long ago.

Yeah hitting ticks me off too as does the easy one timer goals from the CPU team, so I headhunt players in front of my net. :) Also the stupid goalie interference penalty where they run into you trying to make a save.

It's been fun for me though and I'm betting it's because hockey is my favorite sport so I overlook many things.

Haven't played this in a month. Have they made any updates since?

I definitely don't play this as much as I have past editions, but I still enjoy the hell out of it. Since I mostly play random games, I wish EA would embrace 2K's Today modes, where real life stats drive the commentary, and current ratings, rosters, and lineups are in place for all what are essentially Play Now games that feel like franchise games.

Ana/Chi Playoff Games 4 and 5 are now available to play in the game NHL Moments Live mode. I'm sure they'll put both game 7's up next week.

I have never won the Stanley Cup (at least that I can remember) in any version of EA's hockey series.

Played a full season on the x360 with the Blues, made just a couple of trades and won the President's Trophy in the last game of the season in OT.

Caught fire and went 16-2 in the playoffs as G Brian Elliott was a brick wall. Played Detroit in the final and swept them, 4-0!!!

Pretty neat Stanley Cup presentation.. watching the Blues hoist the cup! Made my wife and kids watch the final seconds tick off the clock! :)

BINGO. Hockey isn't my favorite sport -- boxing, baby -- but you have NAILED my major complaints with this game, too. The AI one-timers from the slot are beyond annoying. I play strong positional defense, don't wander, and it always feels like the D-man I control and the AI-controlled D-men are a step behind the AI offense. Always.

It's a shame, because this game does so many other things right. Even with Mike "The SCREEECHER!" Emrick behind the microphone.
