Where can I find more information on the lower leagues in England (like below Conference). I'm jsut interested in reading how they work and the types of teams, players, and pitches that are in the league. Thanks!

try www.non-league.net

You can also buy the Non-League Directory

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 96-9379045

While we are swopping information on lower league football, where exactly are FC Sankt Pauli at the moment ? I have a soft spot for them.
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."

fsquid, you could try www.nonleaguefootball.co.uk though it's a touch out of date - I've just found a listing for Boston United of the Unibond League, even though they're about to start their third season as a Football League club.

www.unibondleague.com doesn't seem to be an awful lot of use but you could have a look, and there's an official Ryman League site at www.isthmian.co.uk that I can't navigate to save my life. There's also www.southern-football-league.co.uk for the Dr Martens League.

Hope they help, but no promises.

Cheers,
Adam

Yep, they're the ones. Went to see them once with my cousin when he was living over there - top atmosphere. Helped that almost everyone was plastered, but friendly. Keep trying to get hold of one of their brown and white striped shirts.

I think they call them the 'Happy Fans' in Germany..I can see why.

Ahh, the regional leagues. They are one of the few that aren't the "amateur" side of a bigger squad.
