It's only day two, but RVP's header will be among the top goals of this World Cup when it's all said and done.

Fearless, good team pressure, attacking soccer even with the lead. Robben has been untouchable, the score could have been more catastrophic for the defending champs.
10s, Can't agree that this Dutch team is near as talented as the Dutch teams of the 70s and 80s (maybe its just nostalgia and I'll grow into them as the tournament goes on) but they play very efficiently for Robben and Van Persie, who are excellent and showed it today. Spain looked jaded after msotly dominating in the first half and the two central defenders looked slow. Puyol is my favourite heavily criticised player of all time and his speed and abrasion is missed. Big challenge now for Spain and Del Bosque.

I was observing it from their gameplay point of view. Perfect counterattacks, loose, patient constructive attacking game even with the score 3-1, solid in the back. Especially during the last 45 minutes of the game, but talent wise yes, it's hard to compare it to the likes of Cruyff, Krol, Neeskens, Jongbloed, Rensenbrink etc.

That was 'Total Football' something I really miss.

Missed it but an attacking Holland is a good thing.

Spain's run has run its course? or will they be back?

They'll advance, but they just looked slow and were stunned after the adverse 1-3. They also lost the opener in the last WC but finished on top. That won't happen here but they'll get better.

I walked around for the last week telling anyone who'd listen that Holland was dead because they had lousy Eredevisie-caliber defenders.

Dont feel so bad.

I told everyone how awesome Spain was and could possibly win their fourth straight Tourney.

Both things could wind up being true? :P

Thats gonna be tough to do.

Cant wait to see a goal because the new goal line tech software is just awesome who made it Nintendo? FFS Can we trust that mspaint rendering if we do really get a close call here, Jesus you cant even tell what angle it is from so much room for photoshopping the ball back an inch to call a goal or no goal im just sayin', it is Fifa.
The prem version there is no mistake actual footage is shown with the graphic.

Lets go Greece and dont bore me to death !!!

Gonna be nice to watch some games live finally :)

He said Hellas will win 1-0. Wishful thinking that.

Was broken Greek though.
