I just used the one to charge my Samsung S4 phone. Takes less than a minute per controller.

I have the cable that came with rechargeable battery, but any USB cord with small connection that will fit into the top of your controller will work. So most smartphones, and it looks like the cable for my Harmony remote would work, too.

The adapter is pretty nifty. Used my Turtle Beach x12's and the sound is excellent for the gaming (admittedly only stereo) and amazing for chat. Very smart way to allow you to balance the respective volumes as well.

The new party stuff is pretty intuitive. Still not sure why you can't just snap the friends app, but all of the options for joining and inviting that one could possibly need are here now. Glad to see the return of the recent players option.

Only drawback is the stereo-only output.

Anyone setup twitch on the xbox 1 for broadcast? I don't see any "login" for the twitch app itself to link with the account I setup via the twitch website. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious (I did change to privacy settings on the 1 to allow broadcast).

The flip side to that is XB1 was suppose to have it at launch, decided to hold and add some cool features to it. Where Sony wasn't suppose to have it at launch and then added it, although without many features.

I don't know if that was a smart move by Microsoft or not but it was the decision they made, not them playing catch up to Sony.

I assume that the X12 comes with a 3.5 MM cable? I bought the adapter too because I don't want my $250+ TB CoD Tango 360 headset to go ashtray, but it's wireless. I am told to get the PS4 chat cable for the hook up and it'll work marvels albeit stereo sound.

I think it's partly a generational thing. I've got friends with middle school-aged kids and they watch this crap all day long. I don't get it, but it's huge.

Same thing with YouTube videos of people playing. I just don't see the appeal, but millions do. I think Stampylongnose has a higher Q rating than half the people on network TV at this point.

I like watching videos of stuff I don't own, or friends videos but I don't get how people earn an income off of playing on Youtube. It's out. I'm watching Mix play PS Golf right now. Running very smooth.
