For anyone interested in capturing gameplay video this is a great deal on an Elgato Game Capture HD PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 Recorder for Mac/PC. It records up to 1080P and is on sale for 127.95 at amazon, regular price is 179.95. I purchased this at the beginning of this year and it is the simplest device I've ever used to record gameplay. It uses a pass through hdmi cable and records to your computer through a usb cable with the free software program downloaded from the Elgato site.

I hope people don't paint Black Friday at Wal-Mart with a wide brush based on that video. I went to a crowded Wal-Mart last night about 25 minutes from our house, but there were no stampedes, no arguments, no problems. A waiting area and line was cordoned with bike racks outside the store, and the local police only allowed a manageable group to enter the store when specials started at 8 a.m.

When 30 of those original shoppers left, the first 30 in line were admitted into the store. And so on. My daughter and I waited for 45 minutes in line. The store was crowded inside but never dangerous. We grazed against maybe two or three people trying to navigate the aisles. Everyone was good-natured, friendly. Plenty of "pleases," "thank you's" and "excuse me's."

And trust me: This was not an upscale Wal-Mart, which might be one of the world's great oxymorons. It was just as trashy as any other Troll-Mart. But the store management and local police devised a plan that created a fun, safe experience for all.

The Best Buy and Target in the same shopping area use the same system. Works a charm.

Whoa MS has a crazy $10 games deal going on at their Store. I just bought Dragons Dogma and F1 2012 for $9.99 each. They had Skyrim for the same price but it sold out fast.

Not a bad haul for $10 games. I was able to snag:

Prototype 2, Saints Row III, F1 2012, Dragons Dogma, Devil May Cry Collection, Fallout NV Ultimate Collection, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Storm Generations.

Last time I checked TW 13 Collectors Edition was still available for $10. I paid $35 a few months ago.

I picked up Tiger Woods 13 Masters Collector's Edition for 10 bucks. I'd have liked to get Skyrim for PC, or MW3, but they were gone. Great deals though. I wish regular prices were this good.

Bought a bunch of games for myself and others. Couple XComs a couple Fifas some Dishonoreds and a Battlefield 3 for the second time. Haha. These deals are just too good to pass up.

Amazon.ca doesn't have the ridiculous good deals as their cousin counterpart south of the border. Even with the extra international shipping, the price made sense to me. Picked up 'Dance 3' for the family and 'BF3 Premium' a second time around.

Really was tempted to grab Xcom but where the hell do I find the time to finished my current stack?

Let's see F1 is till under wraps, so is Sleeping Dogs, will buy Farcry 3 this week.

If you happen to have an MS store nearby they are giving away gift cards for quick surveys. About 2 minutes and I got a $25 gift card today. So far I netted $100 in four visits. If you have more time they were doing 30 minute Windows 8 training classes and you get $20 or $25.

Ditto this. Also grabbed Borderlands 2 on the cheap since I *just* have unearthed the original from my extensive backlog and have been partying like it's 2009.

The only regret I have is missing the $9.99 Dragon's Dogma at the MS store as I've had that on my radar for a bit.

This is too much. Just ordered Dead Island GOTY for $10 at amazon and am debating Xcom for $25
