I had a weird shot last night in the weekly where I was 135 yards from the hole in the rough, used a 9 iron and was going against a 5 mph wind and the maximum distance showed the landing spot just short of the hole but when I hit it, the ball took off like it was hit with a driver going well over 200 yards and out of bounds.

I want to congratulate you for extracting some revenge on this sneaky beast of a course that for some reason has owned me since it made it's way to the 360  Seriously, My average score on this course is probably -1, with a 63 being my lowest ever. I really respect what you did at Greenbriar today - outstanding golf sir!
Thank you!!

Agreed!
Thanks Divot, and good job at the first round of the weekly! Will be interesting to see if you can keep it going and break 40!

Just finished Round 1 of the weekly. There are definitely going to be a lot of low scores on this one. I missed several makeable putts, and still nabbed 6 birdies. Could've easily been a 9 or 10 birdie round.

Scottsdale doesn't have many tricks up its sleeves, and conditions were gentle (in round 1 anyway).

Thanks, but I highly doubt it....-8 in the 2nd round which had me at -1 at the turn before I finally started to make some shots....

Well it's nothing most of you will even remotely consider big deal, but in my third daily since joining the club I was able to hit red figures! I realize I am DeNunzio to all of you Noonan's, but I was too proud not to share! 8)

I am getting more lock ups as well. After I completed round 1 of the daily I started a LIVE daily and locked up 2 holes in. Not sure if its coincidence or not but since the patch I am locking up often.

Divot are you aware of any fix in the works for it?

I just sent a pretty scathing email to TW Devs about this and the need for another patch to address this and a host of other issues. I'll let you know what I hear.

Tim, I hope you get a reply indicating that they plan to fix this. I'm also having more trouble with freezes since the patch, although mine have been fewer than average. I had another one last night at the 16th in my career mode round at Scottsdale. Fortunately, I had just saved my round before teeing off on 16, because I'd had a freeze there earlier in career mode. I know one thing for sure though, I can't launch the game while signed into XBL without freezing the game and requiring a cold boot. I don't like it, but I can live with that. Everyone is going to reach their boiling point sooner or later over the in game freezes.

Just got a response from the TW Community Manager and they are asking alot of questions and still compiling feedback to go to the Dev Team. I am optimistic they will indeed do another patch. As soon as I am able to share more, I will.

There's never really a good timing for it. But for a game that freezes just as you finish a particular round and then it freezes as you press A is maddening. I know how you must have felt DM, It happened to me early during the week in a CC match with a foursome and me coming up back to win it all on the 18th hole. Keeping my fingers crossed every time I spin the disc is not very realistic, is it?

I guess us simulation style TW players love our "roll-outs" as much or more than the arcade sytle TW players love their "hole-outs".

Well, I have now calmed down thankfully. I did manage to play the round over and posted a -13, so I really did not lose anything but my time and a few hairs off my head. What bothers me is that round could easily have been -16 or so as I tried to get cute with a couple of putts that I should have just stroked with my usual stroke. I hope I don't get another freeze on my last round as I have only one entry left and would hate to miss out on posting a full 4-round score...

Trust me, it was very critical, blunt yet objective and the Devs responded they appreciated the feedback.

Am I the only one who hasn't experienced a freeze when playing? (knock on wood). I must be getting close to 100 rounds now and have never had a problem....

I haven't either, but I've definitely not played nearly as many rounds as most around here. I'm in the 30s, but nary a freeze. Knock on some more wood!

Well, the freeze strikes again. Putted out on 17 for par heading to 18 in the Daily at Whistling Straights at -11......I gotta go cool off as this is pissing me off beyond belief....NEVER freezes when I am playing poorly....

And BTW, congrats to Ortho.....he has destroyed Scottsdale with -38 through THREE rounds.....I don't have a prayer of catching him and I am not sure of HOGZ does either...nice win Ortho!

Luckily most of my freezes happen within the first 5 holes. That was a great round you had going at Whistling straights Divot.

Lets not throw the towel in yet at Scottsdale. Hogz could easily throw up a very low number to put the pressure on in the final round.
