The real life F1 circus is back, and so will I be. 10 pm EDT is the time to gather, and hopefully we can get to the track soon after.
As always, we will run 30% races with the qualifying session. All rules and flags will be on, tires and fuel will be set to full sim, as will collision and damage settings. Any and all assists will be allowed, except for "brake assist" which I will turn off in the session settings. Cars will be set to "2011 Performance" and it's driver's choice as to what car you use. I will set two AI to Legend and the rest at Pro. Weather will be set to "dynamic."
We will dfinitely race at China tonight, since the real F1 is there this weekend. We will probably run that one first unless a number of folks post here that they can't make it in time for the first race. As usual, suggestions will be considered for the other venue(s) we do tonight, but unless you did it last week, I think we should do Korea or maybe Valencia since we haven't been there yet.
Of course! Just be aware that like with any sport, there is a lot you won't understand right away so you might feel lost at times. But don't let that deter you! The heart of the sport, and thus the game, is racing, and there's honestly no better way to get introduced to an awesome new sport than playing an awesome video game version of it. That's how I started following F1 way back in '95 or so!
I'll try my best, but mother-in-law is in town and will be sleeping in the next room. Not sure I'll get spousal approval to have "vroom vroom vroom" going on within earshot of her mother.

F*CK, YEAH! You'll have a great time -- guaranteed. Just come ready to laugh and learn a lot about F1 from guys who don't take this whole thing that seriously.
I'm going to be in rare form, guaranteed. It's been a rough week of work, and I need a release besides exercise.
Hope you can join us, dude!

Get her liquored up after dinner, and she'll sleep like XXXIV after an XBL bender or me after laundry night.

Go get a gaming headset. My only comment is that I didn't buy one a long time ago!

I have scattered debris all across the globe and I just started playing F1 a month to 6 weeks ago but I still have not gotten the has destroyed his car message during a race

Danimal; come on in! You'll fit right in. Just be prepared for PK singing, Jimmy disconnecting, XXXVI getting a quickie, and all of us praying that Adam never gets in a competitive car.
Looking like I might just be able to stay awake for this. Still looking for the happy medium between the Williams and HRT I used last week...Lotus, maybe?
