I am still waiting to see which way Bradford will go.

At this point, I have to be honest, I am a scared! ....and not just because I play him like Ryan Leaf in our Madden league.

As for Brady...Hes GREAT. End of story.

I think Bradford will be fine. He proved in his rookie year he can play in the league and make most of the throws. It was probably a blessing that he got hurt last year because he would have been killed last year with the team the Rams had.

I can see Luck as another Eli, do to having a similar type of personality, or a tweener like Matt Lienart, great college qb, mediocre NFL qb.

I think the Colts will almost surely take Luck. He fits with their offense a little better than RGIII, and he is one of the most raved-about QB prospects in draft history. The fact that he ran pretty well at the combine only helps him.

I also can't see the Rams hanging onto that two pick. There are a few teams in the top 15 draft spots who would probably be willing to make a big trade to get Griffith.

That's a sh*t load of picks to give up if the Rams are using the 2004 Eli Manning scenario. I can see if the team thinks it's one player away but the Dolphins have more needs than just QB.

Actually, the youth on the Dolphins is a definite advantage. They have drafted really well of late, so of all the teams that can give up picks, the Dolphins are in a pretty good position. Yes, they were average as a team, but most of that is due to inexperience. Package in Vonte Davis (the Rams need CBs) and we may have a match. I'd give those picks up in second for RGIII or Luck...and pass on Manning for sure.

I'd definitely pass on Manning and Flynn but no way would I give up Vonte Davis, the Dolphins need all the secondary help they can get. Matt Moore was an upgrade over Henne. There are some other QB's in this years draft. I just hope they stay away from Jacory Harris. :P

Oh god...bite your tongue about Jacory. Eeessh.

Vonte is a cancer...showing up drunk to practice, getting in a fight with Marshall because of it. Just ship his ass out now while he's valuable. He's not THAT good. He gambles too much.

As for other QBs...Osweiller is fun to watch so I wouldn't mind a trade down in the first to get him if they don't go up to get RGIII/Luck. Flynn would be my third preference and then Manning. LOL. Sad state of affairs in South Florida these days.

Works for me. That is the right thing to do for a team that needs help all over the field.

Unless the Rams move down to 3 or 4 there's a good chance they won't. That would suck.

Isn't Blackmon, Dez Bryant's friend who got into trouble while visitng his boy in Dallas? ;)

Memo to the Dolphins: If you want RG3, don't ask what his mom does for a living. :)

To the Ram fans, be careful what you wish for with this kid. He is Dez Bryant. Immense talent but above the shoulders is a problem. If I'm the Rams I take the best offer regardless of Blackmon's availability because there are 3 or 4 WR's in this class that can be just as good if not better. If the best deal comes from the Dolphins you take it and grab a Floyd, Hill, Randle, Jenkins, Sanu later. They could also take Wright if he slips, but with Amendola coming back I think they would prefer a "big" and any of those other guys fit the bill.

It's a pretty great spot for the Rams to be in.

Yes it is. I am just hoping they dont f*** it up.

Assuming the trade does indeed happen...Though I would like to see them get him and that would be great to get both Blackmon and picks, I agree that if they dont get him it wont be the end of the world. There are other Receivers and they will have the picks and the picks are what they need.

Whether or not they make good use of the picks...well...that is the million dollar question.

RG III had one big year in college and he's got great physical tools so he's in huge demand?

If it wasn't for Cam Newton's unexpected proficiency, especially more accuracy in the pocket than expected, RG III would probably be looked on as a project, not the best or second-best player of the draft.

Not saying he's going to be a flop but he may not be the instant stud that people seem to expect.

Disagree on one big year. He had a really good 2010 and a monster 2011. Plus he was solid his freshman year. He's got the physical skills and an amazing TD/INT ratio for his college career. IMHO, I think he looks more NFL-ready than Newton.

The Rams are going to be helped by the number of teams who want Griffin. I think the Dolphins won't be able to get him unless they offer a ridiculous package. Also, if Cleveland passes, Dan Snyder is precisely the kind of owner who would tell his GM to get Griffin no matter what.

That's exactly what Steven Ross (the Dolphins owner) may do as well if he can't get Manning. Manning is his prize however...and that's unfortunate IMO.

I hope so. Actually, I'm not sure how much influence Snyder would have in those decisions anymore because Shanahan may well walk away just as Schottenheimer did if he tries to meddle too much. Plus it really was Vinny Cerrato who was the disaster, and though surely his special protected status with Snyder is what allowed that problem to metastasize the way it did, his removal and the hire of Allen do seem to have allowed the franchise to turn the corner.

But, being in the NFC East and being more of a fan of Eli than even most Giants fans for so many years, and knowing how much they gave up to get him (along with the understanding that Rivers is himself a really good QB we would die to have in DC), I am hoping the Skins do go all-in to get RGIII. It's been so long and so many bad, bad QBs since, well, since Theisman, really (OK Rypien had a few good years behind an insanely good OL that kept him upright), that not only are we desperate, but all indications are Griffin would fit perfectly with the Shanahans' offense, and so it's hard not to get excited about the possibility.

That said, if they fail in their bid for Griffin, first of all I hope they stay far, far away from Peyton Manning, because I am convinced he will play two or three games and then get hurt again and be done forever. I hope they would then trade down from six and stockpile more picks and get a few good lineman to protect what probably looks like Kyle Orton, fer crissake. I don't understand how this happens, but will we be getting Kordell Stewart next, too? What other Bears retread QBs will they try?

I know and that's what I'm afraid of.

I'll also disagree with other WR's in this draft who are as good or better than Blackmon. As a Big 12 guy, I've seen many of his games and I truly believe he is something special. I would only trade down if I was absolutely sure Blackmon was still going to be there - he's my guy if I'm the GM.. but I'm not. :( I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but there is no doubt in my mind Blackmon is the real deal.

Cleveland is in the #4 slot and they have interest in trading up but I read on CBS Sports.com that Washington is willing to part with a lot more to get into the #2 spot.

I think RG3 is going to be huge....bigger than Luck AND Cam Newton HUGE. I'd love to see the Eagles move up and take RG3. A man can dream.
