I can't see the Giants beating SF. The Packers were their worse enemy today. SF vs Pats in the SB.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Every time a Giant mockingly does the discount double check, an angel gets its wings.
Kudos to the ref for keeping the Pack in this. Well done, Sir.

If the Giants play like this rest of the way nobody's going to beat them.
SF beat the giants at the stick this year, so let's see.

You don't see a defense that contained Rodgers and Co. managing to stop Alex Smith, even in his new, non-sucky iteration?Rodster wrote:I can't see the Giants beating SF. The Packers were their worse enemy today. SF vs Pats in the SB.
You may be right, but I don't see any evidence that would make it a sure thing by any stretch.

Disgraceful.
Really.
Goodell should just be snuffed.

Packers 2 TDs result from BS Phantom calls.

Not phontom calls. Goodell calls.Lancer wrote:Packers 2 TDs result from BS Phantom calls.
At some point this f*** needs to be held accountable for this disgrace.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Two BS calls keep Packers in it but their onside kick with less than 5 minutes fails.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Defense was great but the 8 dropped passes by the Packers and then the fumbles didn't help.RobVarak wrote:You don't see a defense that contained Rodgers and Co. managing to stop Alex Smith, even in his new, non-sucky iteration?Rodster wrote:I can't see the Giants beating SF. Packers defense really was that bad, allowing that Hail Mary and now not tackling, not getting any pressure on Eli. They were so good last year.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
If the Giants and the 49ers aren't careful, they might make me give a damn about the NFL...lol. Good stuff.

How this team win 15 games this year? This was at total ass whopping. Without the bs calls, it's 37-6.

The sad part is the straight up cheating will be forgotten. The worthless piece of s*** ref Levy and Goodell's disgrace will be forgotten.Lancer wrote:This was at total ass whopping. Without the bs calls, it's 37-6.

Aaron Rodgers Madden Rating just went from 99 to 85. All State wants their money back.

WTG G-Men.
Not only did you beat the "unbeatable" Packers at home, you beat them with the refs giving them every break in the world. I don't really care who comes out of the NFC I can root for either of those 2 teams.

I think the Giants can beat SF and I hope will all my heart the Ravens beat NE.
I agree about the crappy refs too. Get some under 100 year old people that can actually see!

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
AFC - two teams no one wants to root for.
NFC - two teams (outside of divisions rivals) two teams people can like.
Plus the NFC championship kind of turns back the clock to the 80s and early 90s.

But Giants have the high-powered passing game now.JRod wrote:AFC - two teams no one wants to root for.

49ers-Packers would have been renewing an old playoff rivalry too.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
The Packers seemed to have zero confidence today from the very start. The onside kick early really made them seem like a desperate team that didn't think they could compete straight up. I guess if the refs hadn't blown those two calls though they never really did. They also seemed to play with no energy or excitement, they usually seem like they are having fun when that offense is hitting on all cylinders. I wonder how much the death of the OC's son took out of them emotionally this week and during the game today.
The games next week should be great. Like almost everyone else, I'll be rooting for the NFC winner in the Super Bowl. I wouldn't be especially overconfident in the Patriots either, they didn't beat a team all season that finished over .500, including their win last night. I guess it is hard for me to believe the team the slightly above average Steelers handled this year is really some unstoppable juggernaut.

. The G Men will also beat SF. ELI MANNING is legit. Don't judge him by his looks. Pats will beat them in a Super Bowl rematch.

I really need to call Goodell first as he seems to like to be a big part of the game.... but officiating screw jobs aside.... Ill take the Ravens, the Giants and the points.
