Actually it was easier than that. I selected the song, right clicked and selected save tag. :)

Wow my J3 has taken a sh*t. It started having a tough time syncing with my laptop. It's been rebooting I guess because intermittently I get the COWON logo flash on the screen and I know I had powered it off.

I tried to release the Micro SD card and it's phucking stuck lol. I checked the problem and others have had issues where the spring doesn't release the SD card. :)

edit: Finally got the card out.

Wow those NuForce earbuds sound nice. It's no imagination you can definitely hear the difference. Too bad the person who recommended them has writers cramp. :)

I returned my J3 for problems mentioned above and ordered another one this time I went with the J3 32GB. Hopefully they fixed the SD spring mechanism.

No...just was sick of writing the same thing over and over with regards to the ID3 tagging. :)

Several things I like about the NuForce earbuds is I notice an openness and depth to the music. When I watch a music concert you know it's a concert and you can pickup on a studio recording, you can hear the difference. The bass isn't overdone but you can hear when a bass drum or bass guitar is playing.

With my JLab J3's it sounded good but it tended to be on the bright side whereas with the NuForce it's not flat but the sound doesn't come off artificial.

DB does your Cowons have and eject issue with the Micro SD? I hope I get one that shoots the card straight across the room. Looking forward for my replacement J3 to show up. :)

Any rumors on a new model other than the recent Droid?

No, mine is fine. I have to admit, I don't pull out my SD card very often, so it's not that big of a deal to me.

DB what are your thoughts on the Brainwavz M2? Amazon dropped the price from $79 to $59. I love the NuForce you recommended but just checking to see if the Brainwavz M2 are slightly better than the NuForce. I guess I could send them back.

They are essentially the same from a sound perspective. I actually had some trouble getting the M2s to stay in my ears correctly for some reason. The included tips didn't work for me, even though they are the same tips that came with the M3s (which are probably my favorite UNDER $100 earphones). So it's a lateral move sonically...to go to the M2s. You'd have to go up to the M3s to improve your overall sound quality.

Yup on the earbud issue. I read the reviews and that came up a lot. Amazon has the M3's in their database links but there is not actual product when you search for it.

Not sure why they stopped carrying them...I got mine from Amazon back in February.

If you don't mind waiting a week or two for em, you can always buy direct from Mp4nation.net if that's something you want to do. That is the site of the manufacturer so it's legit and I ordered my Fiio E11 headphone amp from them and they are as professional as it gets. Sometimes you never know with the companies in the far east. LOL.

And another one bites the dust! Looks like i'll be on my 3rd J3 before long. I thought it was unusal that the back of my J3 was running a tad hot when I noticed my battery went from 100% to less than half within 4 hours.

DB you think the X7 might be a better built machine? :)

Never had an x7. Not sure why your luck is so bad with the J3. Do you watch movies on it because if not then just go with the new C2. If yes then go with the slightly older S9. All three sound exactly the same.

Not sure why i've gotten two bad ones either. I just ordered another J3 16GB again and when that one shows up i'll return the 32GB.

DB I think I got another defective unit. Tell me if this is normal. I'm watching a concert video, put in on pause and I look down after a few minutes and I see COWON logo and the J3 shuts off.

I turn it back on and put it down while i'm typing this and the same thing happens, the COWON blue logo comes up and it's lights out.....arrgggh. I went into the settings and SLEEP MODE is set to off. The battery also goes from a full charge to 3/4 in 1.5 hours of playing music.

DB suggest another unit man. Is the C2 or X7 any good?

Well I did a Google search and discovered there's a auto timer set to 3 minutes. I switched it off so i'm monitoring it. And no db the other one was definitely bad. The battery on the J3 32GB was getting HOT. :)

This battery doesn't get hot and it ejects the micro sd card. Hopefully it was just the timer setting. Man I hope so these are some nice audio devices. 8)

The two 32gb devices I've had have been flawless. Have you updated the firmware yet? If not I strongly suggest you do.

Sony can't even sell their Walkmans in Japan. Apple dominates the mp3 player market there. This thing will probably be doa.

I did a full charge for 6 hours on Friday. Since Saturday i'm now at the end of the battery meter and it's still playing. I'd estimate about 4-5 hours each day with a good mix between concert videos, MP3's, FLAC and FM Radio and decent volume levels.
