Superbrothers is pretty trippy. Definitely as much "audio-visual experience" as it is game. Great music, semi-entertaining dialogue, and the graphics are a kick.

Also Monkey Island Tales 1 and Back to the Future Ep. 1 are currently free. Supposed to be pretty good.

Tetris wasn't normally priced @ $1?

I already had NFS: HP and it was pretty good, has anyone played the other 2 NFS games?

Video Time Machine is a pretty cool app for fans of nostalgia. You can look up videos from every year. Last night I watched old Intellivision commercials and the last minute of Miracle on Ice. Very cool app.

Apparently it is pitifully easy to jailbreak an ipad or iphone at the moment. Has anybody done this or know a worthwhile reason to do so?

Only reason why I'd do it at this point would be to unlock the phone for use on other networks.

But jailbreaking doesn't necessarily mean you can unlock, depending on the model.

There's software like Miwi which isn't available on the App. Store.

Then there are apparently repositories of pirated software that you can load only on jailbroken devices.

Right, I'm just wondering if any of it is worth bothering with. Flash maybe?

I know people used to want to multi-task or something like that, but you can do that with the official software now.

No I think it's the 99 cents and up games in the App Store that you can sideload for free on jailbroken devices.

Over time, there will be less reasons for people to jailbreak. If Apple continues to offer unlocked option when the new iPhone comes out, that will make a lot of people not bother. Especially if as rumored, new iPhone supports Sprint and T-Mobile.

Or another rumor is about a cheaper model, which would be several hundred dollars less unsubsidized. Again, that would appeal more to people who don't want to sign a contract.

I've got my iPhone jailbroken and its kind of a good thing and bad thing. The good thing is through the Cydia app you can download programs and tweaks that you would not find in the iTunes market, such as having 5 icon's on the dock or having the weather app show the actual temp. The bad thing about it is that if something happens to your phone and you can't restore it then you've voided your warranty.

I thought about jailbreaking, but I went and upgraded iOS to the latest, so now I'll just have to wait.

When I tried to download this morning it had already been taken down. It was only up for a few hours, unless they've already re-posted it.

Key ring for iPhone.

You can scan all of your membership cards and have them listed inside the app, no need to carry them on your wallet oe key chain.

Plus, it links you to coupons from those stores.

Great app.

Ghost Stories is an awesome, awesome board game. It seems tough at first but when you really learn how to play the game it can be won and it feels very satisfying when you do. It's $6 but worth every penny if you enjoy board games.
