DeAngelo Hall led the way at FedEx Field with three touchdowns, one on a field goal return early in the second half, as the Redskins improved to 4-2 with a 63-21 drubbing of the winless Kansas City Chiefs.
The Redskins scored 28 points in the 2nd quarter to make the score 42-0 at the half. The last two of those TDs were interceptions returned for scores, both inside the final minute of the half.
The 2nd half started with a second pick six for Hall, and then the long return on the missed 55 yard FG attempt. As the Redskins took the foot off the pedal in the late third quarter, the Chiefs got their offense going. They ended up with 398 total yards, 384 of those in the air, mostly in the final stanza. As the starters for the Redskins saw limited time, the Chiefs were able to break the shutout and finish with three touchdowns in the last nine minutes of the game.
Clinton Portis had only 61 yards rushing, but he carried the ball only 7 times, including one 9 yard TD run on the first possession of the game. He also ran a screen pass in from 15 yards in the first quarter, and his day was just about done by then. Campbell threw for 170 yds on 8-12 throwing with 3 TDs, including this pretty 53 yard throw to Moss in the 2nd quarter.

The Chiefs had six turnovers, all interceptions from Cassel, to the Redskins two, both fumbles (one of which was yet another interception of a toss-sweep by a D Tackle, but this one didn't go for the score). Though Kansas City dominated in time of possession, total yards, total offense, and passing yards, they were never competitive in the game, falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, and 42-0 by halftime.
GG CPU; I got my revenge for last week's beat down.
The Redskins now prepare to host the NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles, as the Chiefs head home to host the struggling Chargers.
Terry: maybe after week eight is done, you can do some power rankings? If you're still interested that is. I'd love to see that stuff once we're around halfway through.
eman: The best time for me to play will probably be Monday Night, hopefully around 8pm so we don't miss too much of MNF. I don't know my schedule Tuesday, but that could work as well, but later. Let me know what would work for you with the PMs (I hate to clutter this thread with to much scheduling conversation).
