Madden 10 - Will they prove us wrong?

NCAA is enough for me... who knows though, I'm interested to read impressions.

Tried 2 or 3 games of the demo.

Very familiar, been there before feeling.

Put in FIFA 09 right away.

GS demo is just great, also getting reports from people I trust the game is solid. Can't wait to the 14th

Yeah, the 5 min. demo is very impressive. The 1 min. one was crap...can't see anything in that short of a time frame.

Yes it's not perfect but it is fun. I see some new stuff every game, and then I see some WTF stuff too.

Last night I tried to dump a ball into the flat, I floated it and the FB was juggling it and he got blasted by a line backer it looked so real. I saw Fitz make a one handed shoe string grab across the middle.

Then I saw a WTF blocked field goal, the AI kicked it and the RG tried to pull to stop a guy who got through the ball hit him and stuck to his hands and he started running I was like ugh.

Nothings perfect I guess

IGN apparently has an exclusive review going up tonight, a week before release. They'll probably give the game an 11 out of 10.

Hunting for an early copy of Madden is usually more fun than the game itself. Hopefully that changes this year, but I'm enjoying myself with the first part so far...

100 percent agree. I remember last year purchasing Madden at 7-11 a few days before it's standard release date. I quickly soured on the game about a week later.

Living in Chicago usually means no finding anything early. There are no mom & pop shops I know of. After looking yesterday and today most 7-11 have stopped selling video games.

In all honesty the best way to get this game early is put up a crappy website, yell into a video camera and put up some youtube videos.

If any of you Chicago guys know of any mom & pop sites let me know.

I'm just glad they are releasing on Friday this year. I had got caught up in the hype for the past few years and went to the monday midnight launches, but my work schedule wouldn't allow that this year. Now, I'm off on Fridays and Saturdays, so I'll be hitting GS on Thurs midnight.

Personally, I didn't mind Colinsworth last year, and the reviewer doesn't seem to like the commentary at all. The game is a penny short of $70 bucks here in Canada and unless I am floored with impressions here, I'll be giving it a rent.

Game does look nice.

I'm still debating on getting it.. like you , I'll await impressions.

My biggest problem is I'm happy with NCAA and don't want Madden to deter me from it, nor do I want it to make me feel like I wasted $60.

Yeah I know.. doesn't make sense... but playing without the player lock feature on Madden is already going to make me crazy.
