They're already selling NCAA in Europe? Actually, surprised they sell it there at all.

Is it possible to save settings files which contain the sliders and then upload them and other people download them?

They don't - I import it from Canada, and the PS3 is region free :)
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."

FWIW I have been using named rosters without and issue as long as you don't do a lot of editing or depth chart moves with a lot of teams you should be fine.

So, messing with my own depth charts should be ok to do?

Which set did you download?

Thanks!!

You could try this one:

http://www.operationsports.com/mm/showt ... p?t=186725

There is a direct link to a zip file you can download there.

Or you can get it from his locker but can't edit or upload his rosters into your own lockers. You can edit the zip file you download.

Going to be a dick on this one.
Do NOT upload my roster to your own personal locker. I will put it up on mine. My PSN name is Lanteri87. Again, I strongly discourage using the locker.

Also, I will be in charge of editing my own roster, or allowing someone else to do it. Ask first if you plan on sharing edits with a community. Chances are I'll ask you if you want to assist me, but other than that I'm not allowing anyone to release any form of my roster without my consent.

If he thinks people aren't going to host his file in their locker he's off his rocker.

Downloaded the TJsportsguy rosters and had my very first freeze. Was beating Kansas 38-18 when it froze.. not sure if it's roster related, although that was my first play now game with named rosters.

Those are the same rosters my friend and I are using in our online dynasty. Neither of us edited our teams at all, and we're in season two now without any problems.

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him NCAA 09.

Just got done playing an epic multiplayer battle against Zep and this game is a blast online. I have only played single-player so far so it was good to test it online. One thing that was very cool was I had a missed field goal return. Zep tried to win the game as time expired with a 58-yard field goal but he came up short. I had called a defensive formation rather than risk taking a roughing the kicker penalty and for the hell of it ran a cornerback in the endzone. I didn't think I'd be able to return the miss but to my surprise I could. I made it to mid-field and gave Zep a scare.

The only problem I have with the game, other than the kickoff coverage, is the fact that defenders shed blocks way too easily when your ball carrier is in the area. This severely shrinks the amount of open space you have and has really hampered my running game. Other than that I have yet to see any dumb AI moments, the cpu goes deep plenty, and lowering the qb accuracy to 45 and the wr catching to 35 helps the monster passing numbers.

Oh, and so far so good with the online dynasty. I'm 0-2 as Vanderbilt (why on God's green earth did I pick Vandy? ) but I'm still having fun and it's very cool to see what everyone else is doing. After seeing what they did with NCAA this year I absolutely cannot wait until Madden releases. I preorderd and paid in full my Collector's Edition yesterday so I'm all set for Madden and Head Coach on the 12th. :D
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.

Leebo,if you scrap the next gen 09 try the PS2 version of the game. It's fantastic. Sliders work and I would say it's the better than 04.

I've played two more games with no freezes (fingers crossed) - there are some issues with the game, but I'm still having some fun. That's probably due to the fact that playing with Mizzou is so much fun for once.

I have messed with a number of sliders and I just don't know if they really make a lot of difference. The key sliders for me are to increase kick strength for the AI so that I can't do much on returns and lower tackling to make the AI run game viable. I think i will try a season and see how it goes.

I am thinking of doing an SEC team season. That should be a good challenge. Maybe Georgia or Auburn - both have challenging schedules. I can't believe that Auburn plays WVU at Morgantown. Nothing like adding a little more pressure to your season.

You do know the CPU sliders don't work right? For tinkering with sliders it is best to leave CPU at 50 for everything and then adjust Human to get something close.

The only sliders i've touched are CPU Kick Power(MAX) and Penalty sliders (MAX). I'm getting a decent amount of False Starts, Holds and Face Masks (6-7) per game 5 min Qtrs.

Besides all the crap stuff that has been reported, one of the most remarkable things for me is that I am seeing long drives by the CPU. In past games I would kill time of possession, while the CPU would have scoring drives for 3 plays (76) yards due to a long pass or run.

In this year's game it is very typical for the CPU to have several 14+ play drives per game. I know some other things may have been "broken" in the process, but this is much more fun/realistic to me.

As soon as I take my "reviewer" cap off, I have a great time with the game. Certainly not perfect, but by no means does this game suck.

I tend to agree the game is more fun than in the past. Hopefully they can tighten up the gameplay. For me if they can address the kicking game and sliders that would help immensely.

I know their are some who want the ultimate realistic experience but i'm in the group who just wants to have fun. NCAA '09 does that very well.
