Lot of complaints about the PS3 version freezing up and also about being unable to connect to online.

Really? Doesn't seem to be the case over at OS. The majority of those who have the game have it for the PS3, and they say the online is flawless. Now, it might be different now that the servers are being flooded.

As an add on, I didn't realize how many people at OS picked up the game for the PS3. While I won't get to enjoy the game with many of you guys, at least the names will be familar and won't have to play with a bunch of thugs.

360 for online. Really wish could have gotten it for PS3 as I am starting to feel like most here that it is the better system but I cannot pass up my friends list with this one.

EDIT: Never mind I misread your post, yes the majority of people posting are PS3 owners. However there poll is 65% 360 to 33% PS3.

That tells me one of two things:

1. PS3 owners don't have day jobs

2. Because the PS3 actually got a Triple A title release at the same time as the 360 they are online crowing about it instead of playing.

Just kidding

I'm still undecided I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

I ended up going 360 after changing my mind many many times... once while on the phone with my wife while she was at the store getting it for me.

Mainly b/c....

1. online play
2. don't have to worry about getting a 2nd BT headset

I don't care about the DL content unless its free as I refuse to pay for that crap in a 60 buck game.

I might regret my decision as I seldomly play online and I prefer the ps3 controller.

I already had it pre-ordered from amazon for 360. Ideally, i wish I could have it for both systems. I would play single player on ps3, and multi on 360, but that would just be silly. Ultimately Live is the deciding factor. I also prefer the 360 controller. Maybe i'll rent the ps3 some day just to compare the graphics.

Haven't tried going online, but I did get signed out when I was playing single player. I was able to sign back in, but that's obviously not a very good sign. But it's the first day, so I'm not too concerned. Gonna devote all my time to single player for a while anyways until I get the controls down.

Let me know the comparison. I'm not completely sold on the PS3 graphics at this point. The cut scenes look great, but I'm having problems finding that happy medium with the graphic settings.

Agreed. I did change my display settings on the PS3 to only display in 1080P, and IMO it looks better than what I was seeing earlier in the afternoon when I had it set to 720P. But, still it's only slightly.

Honestly, both versions look very good. With the size of the environment, I don't see how anyone can really complain. It's quite impressive.
