Forza Skin Show-off Thread

Post by JRod »

To help out the impressions thread...

Here's the latest in my Euro 08 car. Made some small additions. It would get down a lot quicker if I wouldn't tinker with everything. Oh well.

Here's mine that I'm putting on most of my cars. It based on my favorite car, the Michael Shank Racing Daytona Prototype #60 in the Grand Am series. It's not exact as I was going from memory at the time, but pretty close. I'm sure I'll tweak it some more eventually.

And here I am displaying exiting techniques for the carosel at the 'ring...

wow, some nice paint jobs. Anyone care to give tips on this. I really suck at it and am lucky to just change the colors LOL. I would love to learn to make some designs and stuff.

This was the simplest design I could think of. I wrapped the hood design around to the door after this pic was taken.

My nominee for Thread Title of the Year.

:)

I second SEMINOLE's comments, any tips for us not-so-artistic gamers?

It was a matter of time before someone commented on the rainbow.

That was a great album though.

I'm absolutely horrible with any kind of artistic project whatsoever, but I find myself wanting to purchase a particulary intricate character or figure paint job to just see HOW THE HELL some of these folks do it.

Can you see the various layers of someone else's (purchased) design?

Here's one for PK. With more time, I might be able to get a few things better on it.

Was on the fence about this one, to be honest...I will definitely purchase it now. I'll just wait on Gamefly to drop it a bit in price first...

Very nice paint job on the Pace Car, John! I like the General, too, Teal.

Take care,

Thanks, fellas. I loved that show when I was a kid, and when I was awarded that Charger, I flipped. Spent a good 3 hours on that thing, trying to get it right. Wound up having to create the numbers from shapes, as none of the stock numbers looked right.

If you're a fan of the show, I also did the Double Zero, the only car to ever beat the General in a race. I'll post pics of it soon.

And Gurantsu, that'd be classic, you with Coltrane's car. Seeing as how I wrecked you so much last night, maybe I need to create one too. I could be Enos...

I'm totally addicted to this thing. The racing is awesome online, and the editor is crack.

Decided to try and create a team logo for "Leadfoot Racing" to use on all my cars. This is my first attempt, though I'm sure I'll tweak the logo as I go...
