In a previous job we used to call those guys "middlestallers." I f*cking hated that. Luckily, we have a code of conduct in my current job where there are three stalls. Middlestalling is strictly prohibited. Only an "outsider" would dare breach the code.

Let me clear this up, this incident has been misunderstood for years.

first of all, I was like 12 years old, not 21 or osmethng. Anyway, it was one of those baseball fields where the grass and field mixed, so you couldn't really differentiate between the brown dirt and green grass, bec. it was mixed.

There was a pile of dog s*** right before thrid base. You could not see it from any part of the field even rounnding second because the grass had grown around thrid. again, like i said it was a mix of grass and dirt.

then i had to beat the throw and i slid into 3rd. My right leg was all covered with dogshit when this happened. I personally didn't take a dump in my pants sliding into 3rd. the dogshit was there and I didn tknow it was there and in the heat of the game, I slid and dogshit ran up on my whole leg uniform.

Anyway, I was a gamer like Pete Rose and played the complete game after I tried to wipe most of the dogshit from my pant leg with some leaves by a nearby tree. Couldn't get it all out but i thought I should still continue to play the 9 innings. I think the dogshit slide happened around the 3rd inning so there was more game to play. None of my teammates sat by me in the dugout, which was understood. And I played Center in the outfield so everyone was safe there.

These old SR stories make me wonder wtf happened with matt. Anyway, thanks for the memories I guess. Let's not start to get me to tell the story about the time I was raped in Montreal.

The head first comment rules, but this is what is on my mind. I am guessing this was an og SR thing you posted? Alot of you have a starting date of Aug 02', I'm thinking this was when SR fell apart and a few of you came here?

I'm looking at post counts of guys that have a ton from that sign date aka PK, and DB, Leebo33 and those who have few, aka Airdog, Templehorn, which leads to this.........

Is this Templehorn's aka Siam's old 15 min's of fame from 02 or who knows when and he decides this thread makes him relive it?

If so, LOL sad.

August 02 is pretty much when SR was closed down...it fell apart long before that. Most of the people on this site that all registered back in '02 were likely from there. And yes, Templehorn is Siam...the longest running joke on DSP.

It's not really ONE story...it's the culmination of stories and posts for a few years at SR...the one above, included. I mean come on...how can you take a guy that slides through dogshit and compares himself to Charlie Hustle, serious?

Funny thread. I can only drop a deuce at home, never at the office. Not for the public bathroom/who sat there last issue of it, but that I don't have my handy dandy flushable wet wipes to finish off the paperwork. I'll seriously hold it off and talk it down if I feel the urge mid-day, just to avoid using a public crapper w/o my wet wipes.

There's nothing like a moist towelette to get cleaned up, and since I started using them (a few years ago, when we started buying them for my kids and I tried one out for the hell of it), I can't go back to using plain old TP by itself anymore by simply rubbing my crap into my crack like lotion (which is essentially what you're doing when you think about it).

As for talking on the phone while you're dropping a load... sure, I do it all of the time (since I'm at home), but I'm not a big grunter/strainer or anything... plenty of fiber in my diet.

No, I didnt repost that post from SR or anywhere. I just remembered it since it occured to me and retyped it original.

SR was a real trip. Matt was cool at the beginning when he was with pk, but then he use to have his moments. It would close like every 6 months, and then we'd have nowhere to post for like2 months, then matt would decide to make a comeback and everything and it would reopen.

Ppl got sick of it but thought nothing of it until he made that superiorman s*** up. that was the lamest s*** ever. Even on chat, he use to come on as superiorman and matt. some of us pm'd each other that he'd lost it since he was talking to himself. Then he invited that werido commonsense. I dont even know if that was matt or some real guy. anyway, it turned to s***. Then pk and matt broke up and the site was disbanded. it was matt's yes men vs pk's yes men. it was werid.

only good thing about the site was the discussion about games was good. but at the end it was very few and far between. matt wanted me to post more and more siam stuff so I agreed since i had time on my hands back then. it was a good escape but then when life struck, i couldn't do it anymore. I guess he decided to kill it off for good when he lost his support vs the pk faction. then pk started dsp i think and a lot of ppl left SR, even me. then he started like different versions of sr up i remember, but it never stuck.

it was a good site when it was at its prime. internet forums were sort of new to everyone then too so I guess that made it fun too.

Oh yeah, you're right...all of us just would have disappeared into thin air. We wouldn't have been able to exist without Pk's guidance...I know.

Pretty solid summary, Siam. You're now the Doris Kearns Goodwin of SR/DSP, our unofficial national historian. Seriously, that was a good synopsis, although I don't remember any Matt vs. PK factions. Matt and I just drifted apart. I don't recall any flashpoint; maybe there was one. Who the f*ck knows or cares? :)

But for the record, I did not start DSP. It existed long before me. I think John Cauthen and a few other guys, including Matt Kraus, Jared Medina and Randy Magruder, started DSP back around 1997 or 1998.

DSP is one of the oldest sports gaming sites on the Web, if not the oldest. It preceded SR; I think it preceded Operation Sports, too. The only sports gaming site that I can recall either starting around the same time as DSP or preceding it was Sports Gaming Network (SGN), which James Chenng ran. James is a very good guy, and I used to write reviews for him.

Take care,
PK

That's unabashed horsesh*t. Countless guys found this place -- or already were here -- without a tip from me.

You depict me as some sort of sports gaming forum Jim Jones, which is ridiculous. If only I had such powers of persuasion or tasty Kool-Aid ... :)

Jared is the backbone and compass of this site and this forum. I'm just a dude with an opinion and diarrhea of the fingertips. Well, this was a post about fecal matters, wasn't it? :)

Take care,
PK

A few tid bits.

- No cell phones in a public rest room

- At home anything goes, due to lack of time I usually like to take care of other business while pushing brown. In college I had a girlfriend give me a hummer while taking a crap, I had to dump her a few days later because any girl who does that is just nasty.

- In public bathrooms and especially public showering place like a workout facility. The cleanest stall is the first stall. Statistically the first stall gets bypassed by people (again especially shower stalls) almost 85% of the time according to something I just read last week.

- PK there was actually a sports website a year or two before DSP but I really don't want to go into specifics in public for various reasons, just suffice it to say this site was up when people were still using gopher and website were 99% text based html. If you care that much PM me.

Wait, was it you or she who was baking a brownie? On second thought don't answer that. I don't think either answer improves my impression of your anecdote.

That's horiffic. I want to read siam's posts about sliding into dog s*** again. I'm not liking the mental images exploring the possibilities of Danimal's post.

Ok you forced me to come out with this story by calling shananigans on the last one :) This is by far the most disgusting thing that ever happened to me. Please turn back now if the last one disgusted you.

In college one night I got pretty drunk and went home with a girl I usually wouldn't have (it wasn't the first or the last time) and well we messed around a little bit but never got past 3rd so to speak (that'sa good old finger blastin for you young guys) and it was in the dark and I was drunk as hell.

I made my way home and passed out. I lived with 5 other guys in on campus appartment at the time. Next morning I get up and go to the general mirror and kind of do that thing where you rub your face from just waking up and hair and everyone starts really going nuts and saying thats f***in gross and I look in the mirror closely and my hand, arm and now face are covered in dried blood.

Needless to say it is the #2 of our top 10 college stories, it happened 18 years ago and i still hear about it.
