Here's some info from OS re: moves
"To explode out of the triple threat...hold the two triggers...and press Up on the right stick...then...let go while still holding the agressive modifier... Works like a charm"
Some sizeup moves:
"Last thing, to do the sizeup moves, you don't have to double tap LT. A single tap will do. You have to be stationary to pull them off though. Also if you tap RT to initiate the stutter move but leave the left stick neutral, you'll get a different set of sizeup moves. To stutter drive, tap RT and push left stick toward ball hand. To stutter cross, tap RT and push left stick in the opposite direction of ballhand".
All this and more is from the official demo impressions thread.

I actually switch camaras quite a bit during offline season play. I'll play overhead or follow for a few games then switch to the sides. It makes the games feel a little different and fresh when you do that. That's how I do it...but only with hoops games for some reason. I like to stick to a particular camera for virtually everything else.
I just played a few minutes and I can't wait until the 25th?. I am salivating thinking of having a league online with a bunch if people. I don't play a lot online because of my english but with this game I won't care.
If somebody is going to crate a league for xbox360, I am on it.

I'm a broadcast, press camera angle person myself, so I love the camera angle. This years camera is alot more dynamic than last years. The camera is somewhere between a broadcast and press view, zooming in and out with ease. I booted up 2K6 to see the differences in the camera angles and the demo is a helluva lot better, I can't wait to see the other 34 camera angles.

Wow - team tendency sliders and this little nugget:
"Introduced in NFL 2K5, every scoring play in a game is documented in the Scoring Summary option. Select any of the scoring plays and you can watch a replay of that scoring drive. Even if you're in the 4th quarter, you can still watch a replay back in the 1st quarter. On top of that, you can save any replay to the hard drive and replay it later so you can remind buddies of "that dunk" you did on them last night."
This game almost seems too good to be true.

I haven't bought an NBA game since 2k1 on the dreamcast and I was wondering do they still have the create your own franchise option still in the game like what was in 2k1?

Even the mascot dancing around in the background is incredible looking. This game has me wanting to go out and buy an HDTV like no other one.
Anyone else just leave the computer play itself yet in demo mode? Some of the camera angles are incredible. They keep on rotating through the different angles automatically, and it's just like watching a real game at times.

NBA has usually been pretty good -- quirky issues like any game, but very few show-stoppers. I know last year's XBox version had some substitution logic problems, but the 360 version fixed that.Slumberland wrote:It's a 2K game... there will be some game-crippling bug. Fouls on three-pointers will yield eight free throws, rookies will turn 78 years old after their first season, or Dwayne Wade will have no eyes when the Heat play away games. History bears me out.
I agree with the others -- when I bought a 360, this is what I expected the sports games to be like.

Well, I do think CH 2K7 will be much improved over 2K6. I'm a much bigger college hoops fan, but even I can't get over how incredibly nice NBA 2K7 looks and plays.MizzouRah wrote:I think it's safe to say most DSP'ers will be negelecting other games when this one releases.
I'm trying to get that "NBA" feeling as the demo really shows off the power of the 360. I really hope 2k's baseball game is this good.
In regards to their baseball game, I have absolutely no confidence that the 2007 edition will be leaps and bounds better than what we played this past season. One could only hope. Of course, I'll be disappointed, but in truth my gaming time is substantially reduced during the spring and summer due to the great weather, kids activities, etc.
Yeah, mine is too.. I just know once MLB The Show hits the ps3, I'll be yearning for some good baseball on the 360.sportdan30 wrote:Well, I do think CH 2K7 will be much improved over 2K6.
