Where are you guys finding the auto transport missions? I don't see any of those on my map yet.

8O You mean my free cars aren't free?!?!?!?!?!

The icons for the transport missions are a car's front grill. They seem to just pop up from time to time. I've done a couple of them...easy money...

Well I'll be damned...

Found two vehicle transport missions on the NW corner of the island right after typing that. The SE must be the slums...

Is this what you mean?
No, there is an actual race track just next to Hono airport to the west. You can target it with the GPS, but the gate is blocked off. However there were guys racing around it today. Most likely a mission you must complete to gain access.

The transport missions are all over, but with a lot of roads still not driven on by me I bet they hidden; although I've never seen more than one on the map at any given time. I've been trying to drive as many new roads as I can in the hopes of finding a Ferrari shop to do some upgrades.

Oh, I also haven't done the referral code thing yet, so if anyone still needs a buddy let me know via PM and I can send my code and e-mail address to you.

We should probably get a list up here also of the gamertags of all those who want to be members of the club. That way I won't miss anyone.

Just a heads-up--try not to use a Hotmail or MSN e-mail address with the referral. OS is reporting the e-mail with the redemption code isn't getting to those accounts. I'm in that boat...go figure, Microsoft e-mail accounts aren't working with an XBL promotion.

Reached the Champion level last night. The game gets much better later on. Some of the tracks are very challenging, yet a real joy to run. Money will not be an issue when you get to the Champion level, all of the races pay $50-75 grand.

I am in need of a friend code. I traded with someone already, but apparently he traded with someone else besides me because it's telling me his code has already been redeemed.

I threw out a challenge tonight: 'DPS Webs 6 mile.' For classes G-E, light traffic and cops, 100 penalty points. Easy run to start, gets rougher after checkpoint 5.

I need a DSPer to take home my 50,000.

Grant, I thought you needed to refer 2 friends to get the cars. I had already sent a pm to someone else so my code is used. Badgun just said he needed a code though.

I'm not sure how this thing works. I traded codes with a guy from here. I then put in his code, my code, both our names and both our e-mail addresses. When I hit submit, it said his code had already been redeemed.

Someone else said that only one of you have to submit the info since they claim that both you and your friend will be e-mailed a token to use on the marketplace. So far, I have yet to receive the e-mail.

I left it up for the default three days.

I didn't realize that I couldn't run it myself though! :( Oh well, I'll hold off next time until I post a better target score. I thought I'd be able to run it right along with everyone else.

Get some other DSP challenges out there! I can see this being a blast.

You should be able to run it yourself. I had no problem running mine when I put it up this weekend. Where are you having trouble?

It's not there for me when I pull up the list of challenges. Do I have to access it in some other way?

Yes, only one of the two friends inputs the info on the referral website. The info consists of names, email address, and code......for both people. Both people will get an email with a code in it for the two cars. Although if you used a hotmail or msn email you will have problems. PRBoom got his code but I still haven't gotten mine yet...I used a hotmail account.

I went to the Atari forums and the admin over there said that sometime today they will give out an email address for those that didn't get their code. So you will have to email them using the new email the admin gives out and they will look it up in their database and I guess send out the code again to you.

looks like the clubs are starting to work, so far I see myself, Cowboy59, dsnyder2, and PRBoom are in. I'm interseted to see how it all works.

Leebo, whats your gamer tag? I don't think you're on my friends list. Send me a request and I'll add you in. Also, once we're all in we'll need a president and vice president for the club.

I was able to find mine in the list with no problem. I titled it with "DSP" at the head and that made it easy to find. I think in the list of patch fixes, there was something about limiting how many challenges could be active at one time, so maybe you've submitted it but it isn't active yet, maybe?

I don't know, but I had no problems finding and running the one I did through the normal challenge list.

Yeah, I used the 'DSP' as well to make it easy to find. Huh. I'll check again tonight.

How does the invite get to you? I was on this morning and didn't see anything, but when I checked my news there were about 5 messages that said someone had left the club.

I think my right index finger is still sore from driving all over the island last night. What a fun, fun game. It feels like I haven't even scratched the surface, either.

Weaving through traffic at 180 mph is an awesome rush. I hate it when you run a red light and get t-boned, though, especially if you're on a transport mission.
