Gloria Jean 3:16 says i just stole you heart

named after my mother who many of you already know passed away on christmas moring 1975 shortly after opening my presents she felt tired laid down for a short nap and never woke as she passed away from her lungs filling with fluid i was 6 years old my mom was 29

i honored her by naming my little girl after her i remeber making that decision as a 8 year old while trying to come to terms with what had happened i remeber believing my mom had only left me to become my guardian angel for the rest of my life

Gloria Jean
was Born March 1st 2006 at 3:28 pm
8 lbs 2 3/4 oz
19 inches long
2 weeks early
to the proud parents of Rob & Christine and 13 year old brother Bradley
perfectly healthy every test 9 or better out of 10
terrific pink color
gets prettier every hour if dad may say so
i have never had a greater moment in my life than while standing next to the doctor as she was being delivered
she is very alert and very quiet...smirks constantly

i asked the nurse just moments after holding Gloria for the first time that i wanted my son to hold her second could he come in the room she replied that christine and i are the only ones aloud in the room for a few minutes until she cleaned up the blood

i told her with as many tears in my eye and emotion in my chest as you can imagine that i hope she understood that my mom is already in this delivery room with us

i know many of us are just friends through a keyboard and some xbox live games here but i wanted to share this with many of you especially a handful that i have known back to the sports reviewer days

i will add a few more pictures as the day goes on including some of my mom

and yes i more than willingly have dome several diapers and i for one consider it an honor ...i have introduced here to pandora, and shoutcast as i have sang her several songs while rocking here

im never ever going to come down from this cloud im on

she is beyond words in what she means to me it really truley brings my life full circle and releases so many feeling and emotionals both happy and sad but it truley heels any wounds that remained

this moment has been 30 years in the making and now i get to share the parental relationship i never quite had through Gloria & Bradley for the rest of my life

and my Love and Respect for Christine is unmeasurable

she has given me the Greatest gift i could have ever hoped for

after 10 years together i asked her to marry me friday afternoon

we will be married in a few weeks

Thanks You all for your companionship on here and allowing me to share my thoughts

Well first...I don't follow car racing really...and second, there isn't a URL going to photobucket besides the first one which links to a picture. For those that are computer illiterate...I'll help ya out:

Cincy:

What an inspiring story. Glad everything is going well with the wee one.

As a father of three, I can say to just enjoy these days. They're an absolute treasure.

All the best!

Take care,
