WE9: real names
Hi. I bought few days ago Winning eleven 9 for my xbox, and I would like to change the most possible names for the teams and players. I am from Spain but right now I am living in the USA so I am not following the "fútbol-soccer" as I did before.
Somebody can tell me where can I find names and players, and how to do it in my xbox.
Thank you very much.
Alex

Alex:
You'll need an Action Replay, a device that lets you transfer saves from the Internet from your PC to an Xbox memory card. You can download various WE 9 option files -- which contain accurate rosters, kits, league names and stadium names -- and then load it to your Xbox hard drive.
Most American electronics retailers carry Action Replay, such as Circuit City and Best Buy. You can get them at EB Games, too.
Write if you get an AR and need help finding and loading the option file. Good luck!
Take care,
PK

Naples, you really want to torture our buddy that much?
Damn, I'm the tighest mofo on planet Earth, and even I see the great value of an Action Replay. I did buy mine used, though.
Just teasing you, man.
Take care,
PK

Thank you very much to both, for the answers ant to be patient with my english.
I have an Mac, so I don't know if that Action replay will work with the xbox. I will ask tomorrow for prices and see if somebody in the reatailer stores know if I can use it with my Mac. If not, maybe I have to think about copy names from the sites that you gave me.
Thanks a lot.

I'm pretty sure you can't use the Action Replay with a Mac. Here's a link to guide with all the correct names, etc., if you want to do it on your own:

Your link doesn't work - GF has a policy of not allowing direct links to FAQs.jimd wrote:I'm pretty sure you can't use the Action Replay with a Mac. Here's a link to guide with all the correct names, etc., if you want to do it on your own:

Sorry about that. Just go to gamefaqs.com and type "pro evolution soccer 5" in the quick search box. Then click on FAQS for PS2 or Xbox and you'll find this very comprehensive "Name Edit/Transfer Guide" by ed13689 there.Airdog wrote:Your link doesn't work - GF has a policy of not allowing direct links to FAQs.jimd wrote:I'm pretty sure you can't use the Action Replay with a Mac. Also, I'd be willing to copy an option file for Alex or anyone else here who needs one. You would just have to send me a memory card and a return envelope. PM me if you are interested.

Taken straight from the CodeJunkies website:
Q: Is the Xbox Action Replay compatible with Mac or Windows XP?
A: The Xbox Action Replay is only compatible with Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
It is a memory card that plugs into a USB adapter when you access files from a computer. There is software that needs to be installed that acts as an interface and that's where the problem lies.

I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

Thank you very much, I am going to try with that web, and if I see that it is ridiculous then I guess I will need to buy a memory card. If I do the last thing, can I send you an email asking for your address?.jimd wrote:Sorry about that. Just go to gamefaqs.com and type "pro evolution soccer 5" in the quick search box.
